It puts a vasty majority of the show in May, exactly 5 months after December 24th, regardless. So it totally works.

I still feel both fit better in 2026. Not only due to Disney +, but Secret Invasion makes it clear that Fury's been gone a few years fitting better with 2026. The Kamala thing is probably something that'll have to be ignored like Ajak's "5 Years Ago". These things happen.

First Echo which I still need to add to this timeline. I've seen two placements discussed here: One with the main events taking place from May 31- April 9 based on the lunar phases and has been laid out very nicely by Selfishmisery (who I greatly appreciate for doing the work laying it out so it'd be easier for me!). The other for May 24th - June 1st as presented by FruityWho50. Personally I agree with the later, like FruityWho50 said the wiki goes off lunar phases and that's never been something this site really has done.

Second The Marvels has released digitally which means I can add it to this timeline now. But I don't feel a full decision has been made on it's placement, there was much debate about what to do with it. As before I still think December 2026 works best but I am not certain that the majority of this site agrees.

Everyone who cares please let your opinions on the two be known so everyone can discuss and we can make a firm decision!

I'm still going with no more than a month after Ms. Marvel. Who cares about Secret Invasion. It doesn't exist.
 
Sorry to hear about your daughter Starvel take all the time you need. Just thought I'd let you know the Time range in advance for when you come back sorry I couldn't do anymore but my reasoning is marvel studios doesn't put as much effort or for lack of a better word sufficient resources to pinpoint the timeline day to day in universe so again May 24th til June 1st is clean, no overlaps and doesn't contradict anything in the show (lunar calendar doesn't count because it didn't count for moon knight as Disney still put it in 2025 and it still doesn't contradict anything in that show apart from the lunar calendar, which they doubled down on with the timeline book)
 
Also on the topic of where to place the marvels is mid to late November 2025.

So it would be like so:

31st Oct 2025 - 1st Nov 2025 = Werewolf by Night
30th Oct 2025/2nd Nov 2025 - Around 10th/11th Nov 2025 = Secret Invasion
Not long after 10th/11th November 2025 - 2/3 days later Nov 2025 (Main Plot)/less than a week afterwards (epilogue scenes) = The Marvels
23rd ish Dec 2025 - 24th/25th Dec 2025 = GotG Holiday Special
Early March 2026 = GotG 3

All of this works with the 30 years since captain marvel in summer 1995 in the marvels and secret invasion,fixes Kamala's age as 16 in Ms. Marvel and the Marvels. Hill says fury has been gone for years (Oct 2023 - Nov 2025 is more than a year so this also works)

Also there was a calendar on Counter Earth in Gotg 3 with a March 4/5/6th date which also matches with the Late winter/early Spring weather on earth and it has to be close as possible to the holiday special as that was referenced on the newspaper Quills Grandpa was reading.

what is everyones opinion on this? personally i think season 2 overwrites season 1 and matt and foggy met in college, making the classes they're taking and the stickers on the laptop in the season 1 flashbacks incorrect

i agree about the film being earlier in the year but do you have more info about the calendar on counter-earth? i seem to remember seeing it was debunked by gunn or someone else at the studio but now i cant seem to find anything on it at all

Your not wrong I think it was on a twitter post from Gunn (but I could be wrong) showing different angles of the Alien family's Counter-Earth House and one of the pics had a clear view of the calendar which had a March date marked on it I think (sorry it's been awhile since I saw the post) and people were asking Gunn about it but Gunn said that it had no importance to the plot or that it was just a bit of set dressing that had no relevance to the seasonal weather.

Oh and the fact that on the calendar there is 32 days on it because it's an alien calendar but the dates line up with March 2026

I'm going with that early March 2026 date for now as we have nothing else to go off that also lines up with the other vague evidence in the film like the type of weather on earth and the small gap between GotG Holiday Special and GotG 3

Personally I find an alien calendar kinda hard to go off of especially since it has 32 days like you mentioned. There's no way to know if Counter-Earth March lines up with real Earth March. However like you said there's very vauge evidence to actually place the film and we're just guesstimating with it based on weather and I believe the Disney+ placement. If people would like GotGV3 moved to March I can make that happen as well

All of the days of the week lined up with the numbers of a proper 2026 earth calendar from the real world and because they were also filming around late February/Early March this just further supports that the calendar is one from filming but they slapped an extra day on the end to make it spacey

Yeah if one month is 32 days, then the previous months are all jacked up and uneven with real time.

I fully believe it is. These things happen. Of course there's Ajak's "5 years ago" even though Eternals is confirmed to be six and a half years after Infinity War, but I recently watched Far From Home and Betty says "over 5 years ago" when at that point it would be over 6. I still feel like the age is from very early in the movie's production before delays pushed it further in the timeline. The couple times Disney + has moved a placement it was only by one spot and didn't affect that placement's year. I still believe it's pretty much confirmed Marvel sees Secret Invasion and The Marvels as 2026.

On this occasion I don't think so, has Kamala's age was on screen in the marvels as 16 and the director of the film also stated that the film is not that long after Ms.Marvel (Sept/Oct 2025) this would be when the press interviews for the film were happening so they had pretty much wrapped up with post production at that point
