Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I haven't seen Loki S2 yet, but I'm wondering how much time has passed in the "present day" TVA scenes since season one? Is it set immediately following the series or does it pick up some time later?

I personally set the present day of What If...? In October-November, before WandaVision. It's not the most reliable source, but it's consistent with the Disney+ timeline and that's all we have to go off of. Seems like that's where it's intended to be set.
Yeah makes sense, I can make that move.

What about the Timeline book placing What If...? at the end of the book?

Nice article, TL;DR Nov 2025 is their guess. However I did see a source on Reddit in the comments (so that that however you will) saying it was May 2025, 5 months after Hawkeye. Normally I'd disregard that but this commenter spoke with certainty and apparently as a good rep of being correct so it stuck with me.

anyway guys, for a viewing order experience I would suggest to watch Loki S1 After Endgame, and Loki S2 After Quantumania.
Personally myself I'm going with:
Endgame
Loki S01
What If S01
Loki S02
What If S02

But Loki S02 before or after Quantumania I'd say is perfectly valid given the reference at the end

Loki S2 works better after quantumania cos of the Kang reference at the end. If you watch it before someone who explore the MCU for the 1st time (good luck whoever you are) would just think, WHAT?? When that happened. Instead for the Loki S1 Placement I like having it soon after endgame, not only for the fact that it is a flowless transition from the infinity saga to the Multiverse saga, thanks to ep 1 intro, but literally S1 finale brings us to, you knw almost everything that happens in the multiverse saga.

I definitely agree for a 1st time viewer it'd be confusing. However for a first time viewer I always recommend release order as their first watch (Black Widow alone would raise some questions if not straight up spoil things in its place). That's why I always plan my chrono viewing order for someone who is familiar with the franchise, and prefer S02 right after S01 for better flow. A little reference to a future event will be seen when we return to the timeline.

What If I used to just watch right after the binge as like a bonus but I've moved it to in between Loki cause I thought it could be fun to bounce between them but I may end up moving it back to after the binge before I do a rewatch tbh

for a first timer, I use release order moslty, sometime changing placements for the films to flow better, basically fusing a release order to a chronological order, like I'm doing with my MignolaVerse timeline, oh and of course following the post credits scenes narrative.

That's actually very smart yeah. Little mix of the two would improve both
