Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Are you guys going to be seeing Brave New World?
anywhooooo

I am going to see it tomorrow. People on Reddit who have viewed it have some info about the timeline. Makes sense from the comments how it will fit in with Secret Invasion & the timeline I believe.

"He [The Leader] says 16 years in the film, which places Cap 4 in 2025. A chronological reference places the film in May. And events transpire that will make it all work out, assuming Marvel doesn't mess up their own chronology again."

Also FNSM placements anybody? Civil War occurred / now the Avengers are on the run. Ross & Tony obviously appeared which was nice. If this mimics the main Civil War timeline it would have to be well after the "Tony Stank" scene as Tony's black eye has faded so at least 2-3 weeks post Siberia. BUT it does not seem like the episodes are spanning weeks to me. Thoughts from yall?

Also in ref. to Civil War and the bruise that would put that at late June right? Which is tough to say lines up with a school calendar.

On this? 16 years since what?

I have seen movie yesterday.

Some timeline notes, if i remember them correctly:
1) movie starts with Ross speech after succesfull election, then jumps 5 months later
2) Cap mentions they are together with new Falcon for 3 years
3) Bradley was released from prison 2 years ago??

Incredible Hulk maybe?
That's my guess. But that'd place the film in 2026, not 2025.

2) Cap mentions they are together with new Falcon for 3 years
3) Bradley was released from prison 2 years ago
But notes 2 and 3 here point to a 2027 placement.

Yea although I always see varying info on when people place TIH. I just found this site: https://davidmdaut.com/2018/12/15/marvel-timeline-hulk/ which really breaks it down (unrelated)

Kuluraks info is likely more reliable than Reddit
There was much debate even on here and due to the film releasing 2 years before the MCU picked up and being the second films before they started even worrying really about making the details line up it can be a mess. Fortunately the Timeline Book gave an official placement on the film.

Does it make sense with Secret Invasion?
Ritson was not mentioned. (if I didnt miss it)
On this? 16 years since what?
it was 16 years as duration for how long is Leader captured by Ross in prison/facility, so he could be captured sometime later after TIH

if we are in fact going forward under the assumption that for whatever reason that for whatever reason an election occurred in 2026 in the mcu that the unity day placement of secret invasion can be considered moot? would the us presidential election or unity day take precedence in a situation like this?

It's not for "whatever reason" as of right now Secret Invasion is placed November 2026 by the currently Timeline accurate Disney+ Timeline and other evidence discussed at length here when it was released. Until BNW has released for everyone and we've all had a better chance to see the evidence and see where Disney places it and get all the evidence on the film and it's timeline placement, there's no point in trying to decide what takes precedence over what.

Bit funny to imagine the end of Secret Invasion with Ritson's speech and then him losing the election immediately after, but I guess that's the only way it can work
