Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Does Miss Minutes say to ignore "8 Years Later…"?
If she doesn't that'd be a massive missed opportunity
If the book is including something like this, it'd be extremely disappointing if she didn't.

"Hi there! Adrian Toomes says the Battle of New York was 8 years ago, but that event was only 4 years prior. This one's a real head scratcher for us - I reckon an Analyst misplaced the case file." - Miss Minutes

Got the first big discrepancy: The Eternals is placed in 2024
We knew this since the preview pages released on Amazon. If Fury's Big Week is 2010, the "a year ago" line by Fury in Avengers is being ignored. Looks like the same thing is happening with Ajak. I still think Eternals was originally meant to be 2023 but at some point (maybe due to Covid delays) they decided to go with 2024.

I'm not sold on eternals being in fall 2024 too late Imo for the emergence to happen, plus Ajaks five years line, the Halloween/Xmas background details plus there is no mention/references of Shang chi, FatWS or Far from home.

so still an Oct/November 2023 for me, still iffy about Love and thunder though because at the earliest, it has to start in 2024 and end before perhaps the marvels in nov/dec 2025. so, May 2024/2025 or October 2024/2025? i prefer either May 2024/2025 but I'll wait until the marvels comes out.

Also, I think I saw they put All hail the king in Jan/feb 2014 and they moved Winter soldier to spring 2014, probably April, which can't work with agents of shield I don't think. i put all hail the king in around march 2013 just before AoS season 1.

Any more book spoilers?

I got 1 dollar in my account until early November so I can't buy anything...
I'm up to The First Avenger, and Miss Minutes mentions

"Howdy folks! When did Bucky Barnes fall from that train? We'd all like to know! The Smithsonian's Captain America exhibit says 1944, but Armin Zola claims he was captured in 1945. Those Analysts must be gettin their britches in a stir! Let me investigate who filed that paperwork".

The timeline just says the scene is the Mid-1940s, everything else matches here, which makes sense given The First Avenger gives a number of dates throughout. They do have Steve returning with the soldiers he saves as being November 10th, I'm assuming it took a week for them to return to Phelps.

I love Miss Minutes calling out inconsistencies. Here's another

"Howdy, y'all! A lotta years from now, a Las Vegas awards ceremony will play a sizzle reel that suggests Tony Stark didn't take over the family business until he was 21. But if he was already 21 when his parents were killed, what gives? It was a tumultuous time for Stark Industries and Obadiah Stane took the helm in the interim, so maybe the video glossed over finer details to keep it dramatic!"

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. The majority of it does match here and I do like how certain events are broken out in relation to others. Like finding out TF&TWS finale is actually after Far From Home.

Here are my findings from up to 2000:
  • The rescue of the 107th and the return to the U.S. Camp takes place from November 3-10, 1943.
  • The book places the moment Zola places Zola in stasis BEFORE the Ms. Marvel scenes in 1947.
  • The young Ava (Ghost) scenes (Chapter 8) are late 1980's BEFORE the Captain Marvel scenes.
  • The Hank Pym/SHIELD flashback (Ant-Man chapter 1) takes place before Carol Danvers' jet crash in 1989.
  • The young Natasha scenes (Black Widow chapter 1, 2, 3) take place summer 1995, just like Captain Marvel.

Miss Minutes notes:

  • "Howdy folks! When did Bucky Barnes fall from that train? We'd all like to know! The Smithsonian's Captain America exhibit says 1944, but Armin Zola claims he was captured in 1945. Those Analysts must be gettin their britches in a stir! Let me investigate who filed that paperwork".

Sooo pretty close to our timeline, unlike we previously feared?
