What!? If it's implying that Iron Man 3 is set in 2013-2014, then this book is truly causal Disney+ timeline garbage that should be ignored. I mean, not to give crap to the timeline writers, but Iron Man 3 is very clearly 2012 apart from the prop date. The dialogue confirms it! Even if it's supposed to be considered official, script/dialogue > props > BTS statements, and Kevin Feige literally confirmed that Iron Man 3 was months after The Avengers 10 years ago!

Also looks like Fury's Big Week is 2010, as there is no 2011 year in the index or table of contents.

If we are just going by "Iron Man Armors" listed under the 2014 section, that doesn't necessarily mean they're saying IM3 falls there.

As far as Eternals in 2024, that could work, I think, if it's early 2024. The snap was in May 2018, right? In say, January 2024, it hasn't yet been six years since the snap happened. So her saying 5 years works fine.
 
yes that could be referring to the time tony rebuilt the iron legion following the destruction of the suits at the end of iron man 3 but that just leaves iron man 3 with ant-man as not being mentioned in the contents at all, granted i'm waiting to judge the product when it's released in its final form but i'm not holding my breath, not that i was before this preview was released

2024 has Shang-Chi correctly listed first and Eternals in between FFH and NWH. While it's obvious (and I prefer to list it this way tbh) that FFH and NWH should be watched back to back, Eternals could be placed in Fall 2024 -- in between the both of them if FFH begins before those events. Looks like 2025 is identical to the Disney+ timeline (only one I am personally iffy on is the Thor 4 placement).

I mean, 5 and 11 months after Infinity War could work for Eternals?
These are technically programmed individuals so it might be an approximation thing in their minds.

I also picked up on this. It also seems the TVA's present day is 2023 and What If...? is in 2025.

Eh, I don't know, those could work. 2010 was to be expected already. The only thing that "messes up" is Fury's "last year" line in Avengers, right?

2013 is perfect for Iron Man 3. Christmas 2012 into New Years 2013. That's already what we have here. (Unless they are saying 2013-2014).

And Eternals 2024, that could work as well if "5 years ago" is taken as an approximation. Are we always 100% accurate when we say stuff like this? "Hey didn't we go to Disneyland like 5 years ago?"

Based on that breakdown video, they went with the newspaper so they are implying IM3 is December 2013.

To Eternals, yeah this is where I get a little testy with logic. Ajax said 5 years and simply because we approximate things is not a good enough answer for WHY the movie, according to the book (possibly), takes place 6 years after Infinity War. Those page numbers are broken up like that because they most likely are jumping around between movies/shows characters in chronological order within each respective year, and that would place Eternals between FFH and NWH. WHAT? On top of this Civil War is a prime example of the story giving out dates left and right that all line up with different parts of the preceding films. Why would they take such care to make all those statements and then decide...eh Ajax can approximate their timeline?

No the book, I'm sorry is trash. I cancelled my pre-order for it. The so called research they did was likely watching the movie one time, jotting down whatever they saw or heard and then decided that that's where it goes with little regard to actual discussion or connectivity to other movies/shows. I was really hoping for more detail and reverence to the details but I guess that was too much to hope for.
