Secret Invasion is already looking to be November 2025, and I could see New World Order and Thunderbolts happening early in 2026 (at least before Quantumania in July 2026). I could also see Echo being earlier in 2025, not too long after Hawkeye, and maybe the New Year's Eve that's a part of Daredevil: Born Again is 2025 into 2026. It's going to be interesting to see how things end up playing out.

Okay so I finished the video. I do like the conclusion as to why Quantumania is 2026, the director stated pretty clear ages for Cassie in each of the films which I think gives a nice timeline there and it does all work. Sure it's not perfect for the Wakanda Forever easter but there's explainations. However I also think 2025 works nicely so I will go with whatever the general consensus is here

I do think his reasoning for some things is really grasping at straws. Specifically his reasoning for why Love and Thunder in so late in the timeline. They put it there cause that's when Korg told the story? C'mon dude. I also think Marvel changing Cassie's age a little to move Quantumania forward so other unrelated projects have time to happen first is also a bit of a stretch. I think it's been shown that Marvel isn't too picky about how these projects fit together unless they relate or share characters, I mean listen to Reed's comments about the timeline he said in the video right there. I doubt that was a factor at all in placing it in 2026 and I'm pretty sure a few of the projects he mentioned there are gonna end up in 2026 not 2025. I do think however that Cassie's age timeline as the director stated it lines up with 2026 and since there's not a whole lot in the film saying 2025 outside that little bit in Wakanda Forever which again can be explained still, I'm good with the change

I don't agree with everything he says, but going with when Korg is telling the story or a time jump during the epilogue is really all there is for Love & Thunder's Disney + placement. Whether you see it as 2024 or 2025, October 2025 simply doesn't work for the movie's main events. With a project as recent as She-Hulk confirmed for the book, I'm sure the timeline will once and for all explain where Marvel Studios sees Love & Thunder. Whether I personally agree or disagree.

Either way I see it as a bad thing. Either A they don't care that much about where Love and Thunder went and just put it after Ms. Marvel (which is what I think happened) which is stupid or they're basing it off of Korg telling a story, which is also stupid

I don't think the movie itself really had an idea where it was taking place. Beyond the basics of its after Endgame but before the Guardians Holiday Special and Vol 3. Given how they didn't just place Multiverse of Madness and Wakanda Forever as the most recent things on the timeline and matched the evidence shown in those films, I feel like there has to be some reason they chose to place Love & Thunder where they did.

Also do the same for these reasons. Plus there's direct references to the super soldier program, so it leads into Cap 1 nicely. (Although I guess Thor 1 had the tesseract stinger, but that's more of an Avengers lead-in).
 
I got bored and made some calculations for MCU Timeline book (again).

At first I counted everything in Star Wars book. If my calculations are correct then:

Photos at beginning and end of the book - 6
Index at beginning and end of the book - 6
How to use - 2
Timeline content - 286
Things like light saber history, evolution of Star Destroyer etc - 30

Assuming that MCU book will be similar we will get about 300 pages of pure content. I took Iron Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain AMerica: First Avenger and GoTG 1 and 2 numbers from amazon pages. The rest is just assumption. And I believe that the last movie in the book will be GotG 3 and the last D+ show will be Secrter Invasion.

Rewatching Quantumania after finally getting the 4K physical copy and noticed that Christine Everhart and Bruce Banner are quoted on the back of Scott's book.

"Funny, intense, and honest- the transparency we have been waiting for from our super-powered citizens"

Christine Everhart, WHIH NEWSFRONT. Matches perfectly with what we see from her in the WHIH videos. Also, find it funny her quote's on the book given how she and Scott started out in his WHIH interview with her.

"Introduces the man behind the hero, and the hero I call friend"

Bruce Banner, FELLOW AVENGER.

Also, the book has a sticker saying "OVER 10 MILLION COPIES SOLD WORLDWIDE". This probably means this is a later reading due to the book's extreme popularity and is separate from the book tour mentioned in Wakanda Forever. I think I'm pretty sold on Quantumania in 2026 at this point.

Actually the 10 Million copies sold one is a great point. The age thing can kinda go either way depending on which numbers you listen to. But 10 Million sold written on the back of the book during the initial book tour seems unlikely if I'm not mistaken.

I think it could fit either 2025 or 2026 and it would cause no problem. The only problem I see is it being placed by Disney+'s timeline which we know its unaccurate but until new information releases I'm going with July 2026

I feel like it has to be 2026 at this point. If Scott is going on his book tour during Wakanda Forever, chances are the book is just coming out. (October 2023- Endgame happens, 2024- Scott writes his book, May 2025- Book is released). I think it'd be extremely unrealistic for 10 million copies to sell within May-July 2025, no matter how popular the book is. Giving it around a year and 2 months works better IMO. I think Holiday content like Hawkeye and the Guardians special are good gauges on what year Marvel sees projects taking place, whether we disagree or not. And placing it after the Holiday Special, makes me feel they see it as 2026 and so far I don't see anything that contradicts that.
