"Down to Peter getting the broken Blu-ray player from the trash and he walks into his department for the famous moment where Tony stark is waiting for him to offer him the stark internship and take him to Berlin. But because of things that happen in the multiverse because of new, random occurrences, it's not Tony Stark who's waiting for him there. It's Norman Osborn and that sends his life in an unexpected trajectory that collides him with many unexpected characters in the Marvel universe."

It is a What If...?/Marvel Zombies situation. Part of the multiverse that the MCU is establishing but not actually part of the primary continuity. I suppose in this reality, Matt upgraded his "Masked Man" suit into being his "Daredevil" suit, and he never retired between Daredevil S2 and The Defenders. Nico Minoru moved to New York. Stephen Strange became a sorcerer earlier. I suppose the divergence point is Oscorp being established.

Interesting. I'm was always looking forward to the show but after Comic-Con it sounds like the thing was gonna be fairly separate, not that it's a bad thing. But now knowing it is specifically being designed as an MCU branch I'm very curious to see how they'll change things

Guys, are we sure the Runaways ranking is correct? In the first season there is nothing that makes me think of December 2017. In the last episode, also, set in 2022, they say that 3 years have passed since Gert's death

In S1, we can see that Geoffrey Wilder has a 2018 planner in his desk, at one point we see a calendar that matches December 2017, and the kids' school has a "non-denominational" holiday dance. The problem with Runaways is each season set itself around its release year. That works for S1 and S2 as S1 ends in 2017 and enough time passes in S2 for it to end in early 2018. However, S3 places itself in 2019 (we can see this with a 2019 calendar and 3 years later being 2022), and not enough time has passed for that to be correct. It all boils down to them clearly not caring about continuity.

That would place the entire series as being post-snap, which it's honestly bad enough just having that last half of S3 be. The only reason 2022 is treated as 3 years later is that they lazily just added 3 years to the time they were filming the season. Plus Cloak & Dagger S2 ends in Fall 2017 with them leaving for LA and it fits more if when we see them in Runaways S3, it's early 2018.

I'm watching the last season of AoS and I'm on episode 8. I'm right around 25 minutes and there's a flashback of YoYo's father getting killed. I don't think that's placed on this timeline?

I know it could be a big stretch, but we try to solve the problems by staying as consistent as possible with the material. What if Gert's death scene was only representative and she went into a coma for a couple of months, until just before summer 2019? So everything would fit into the timeline. @Pro Bot

This is just me talking but I feel like this was either A. Him just fucking around and everyone taking him too seriously or B. Him being a little too full of himself to consider anything without his main involvement with these characters canon to "his Guardians Saga". Either way, Thor's words are correct

So, I'm rewatching What-If and I'm thinking for my own timeline, I might switch some things up with Fury's Big Week. Whether you go with the Prelude comic and the old Marvel timeline (which I believe is outdated anyway) or the What-If episode, there are some contradictions. But, I personally feel like What-If takes precedent over the comic. This is what I've come up with based on What-If.

Sunday, May 29th- Tony's birthday. This is concrete and matches with What-If telling us the next day is Monday.

Monday, May 30th- Fury finds Tony at Randy's Donuts, Tony goes through his dad's files, Bruce arrives at Culver University, Tony meets with Pepper in her office, and Coulson leaves for New Mexico. That night, Coulson stops the robbery at the gas station and Thor arrives on Earth. Coulson is wearing the same tie when he's given the detail to watch Tony and when he tells him he's leaving for New Mexico, so for this, all to be the same day isn't too big a stretch.

Tuesday, May 31st- Coulson arrives in New Mexico, Bruce pretends to be a Pizza Delivery driver, Thor tries to steal Mjolnir off the SHIELD base, and back in New York, Tony and Rhodes face off against Vanko at the Stark Expo.

Wednesday, June 1st- Thor battles against the Destroyer and returns to Asgard, Bruce faces off against Ross at Culver University, Fury makes Tony a consultant where we can see the news report discussing Culver University.

Thursday, June 2nd- Bruce and Betty hide out at the hotel.

Friday, June 3rd- Harlem Battle.

Going off just the movies and What-If, I believe this works as the actual movies are vaguer on when certain events in other movies happen throughout the week. There are plenty of contradictions when you consider the Prelude comic, but like I said I personally feel like What-If would be more accurate. I know there's the excuse that What-If is an alternate universe, but I don't see how the nexus event of Hope's death would cause events like when Thor tried to get Mjolnir and when Bruce went against Ross to happen on different days.

I'm not asking for any changes to be made here, just thought I'd share.

Yeah, I knew ignoring the comic would be controversial which is why I perfectly understand leaving the timeline as is. It's just for me personally, I feel like What-If would be considered more official.
