This really felt like an episode made specifically for people on this forum.Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised that they stuck to the continuity of "Fury's Big Week" so closely

I mean, I have my own personal one that I've been building. I would never want to ask to take someone's hard work away from them, I was just putting in my two cents.I'd encourage you to speak to Lebnyx about taking over this thread then since he's running this timeline. Or you could start your own. I keep my own personal one based on what is here. I have a couple things in different places, but it's because it's my own personal taste on things.
Sorry I have been away so not able to respond sooner.I see what you're saying, but with Loki and now What If? the whole premise of multiple timelines seems to rely on nexus events from the sacred timeline, if I'm wrong, cool, but I think creating a concept of "Well, different timelines can branch off of our timeline and be a new timeline, but also our timeline has multiple universes inside of it, so this person is from one of many universes within the sacred timeline, but this person is from a branch that separated from the sacred timeline because of a nexus event" will get incredibly confusing for a casual audience VERY fast. It seems they want to keep it accessible and that's the concept that What If? is trying to illustrate for us.
We'll definitely see how it plays out. I just can't imagine they would develop an entire show around explaining the multiverse only to disregard those rules, but we'll absolutely see how they decide to play it in DecemberSorry I have been away so not able to respond sooner.
I think my take on this is that the MCU had its sacred timeline and now the branches seen in What If?. The Maguire and Garfield Spider-Men are different universes, not tied in any way to that timeline, they have their own, same for Fox's X-Men and so on. It is only when multiverses collide that they then interact.
If we find out then at all, it may take until Doctor Strange or Ant-Man if they really want to stretch it out! We'll definitely see how it plays out. I just can't imagine they would develop an entire show around explaining the multiverse only to disregard those rules, but we'll absolutely see how they decide to play it in December
Did you guys know that the "Official timeline" in the Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years book was removed?
Does that book actually feature a timeline? I never trusted the first ten years one because like you said, it was by TitanI remember that article going around, and I believe it turned out Marvel actually meant this book; Amazon product ASIN 1419732447
The one mentioned in the Reddit post isn't officially by Marvel, but by Titan.
Does that book actually feature a timeline?
I'm about to preorder this myself. I had no idea haha.It releases in October. I've had it pre-ordered for 2 years now, since it's been delayed a couple times now. Any timeline notes that are in there, I'll share here once I receive it.
As someone who's collected all the movies, tie-in comics, seasons of the shows that are available on physical media, and artbooks. I might as well get it too.I'm about to preorder this myself. I had no idea haha.
I mid-agree with you but that quote was not a flashback? So I actually just did a re-binge of Loki and for me personally I'm going have it be watched after WandaVision from now on. This Reddit Post visualized every spoken line in the opening of Episode 6 of Loki, and it included lines from all over the MCU, but also all over Earth history. And 'history' is the key to why I'm watching it after WV from now on. They add Vision's Perseverance line to that opening as well as 2 lines from Loki's own show, but there are no lines from FATWS or FFH in there, which if you consider the historical lines, means that FATWS and FFH haven't happened yet but WV has.
Just my opinion on the matter.
What do you mean it wasn't a flashback? I prefer your second approach BTW.I mid-agree with you but that quote was not a flashback?
I had to versions of the timeline
Avengers: Endgame
Loki
What If...?
WandaVision
or
Avengers: Endgame
WandaVision
Loki
What If...?
The love persevering line was a flashback in WV, took place just after AoU.What do you mean it wasn't a flashback? I prefer your second approach BTW.
I get what your point is, but I think those lines were simply random, similar to The World Between Worlds in Star Wars: Rebels. It's just a timeless zone where everything exists at once.So I actually just did a re-binge of Loki and for me personally I'm going have it be watched after WandaVision from now on.
