Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

Can you at least spoiler tag the timeline?
Well, the movie starts with Black Widow on the run, already gone from the Germany. Then the movie takes place in what seems like at least a couple of days (could be wrong there), but at the end there's a timeskip of two weeks where Nat says she's got some prisoners to save (implying Wanda, Scott, Clint and Sam). This doesn't seem to line up with the tie-in novels, specifically the one where Natasha is being interrogated while Steve is freeing the others, but I might be wrong. I'm haven't looked too close at the timeline of the prelude comics yet, but I feel the Raft breakout is way sooner than it is in the movie.

How long after Endgame is the post credits scene?

I just have to say it's nice that Marvel has started officially confirming when certain movies take place. I remember when Homecoming came out and getting criticized by a lot of people who were trying to make 8 Years Later work. Moving Avengers to 2009, Civil War to 2017, etc. It's been a little validating seeing stuff like Endgame and Loki confirming Avengers as 2012 or Black Widow
confirming Civil War was 21 years after 1995 (2016).

Is there any specific line in Black Widow that pinpoints exactly how long after Civil War it takes place?
Disney + has put it in between Civil War and Black Panther on their timeline order. So it picks up very shortly after Civil War.

Also, I'm not sure if we'll get confirmation but I think it's a safe assumption that Yelena was snapped. Black Widow confirms that she was born in 1989 meaning she was 27 during the events of the movie. Making her 29 during Infinity War. Florence Pugh is currently 25 and I think it makes more sense she's now playing someone around 29/30 instead of someone who would be 34/35.

Updated with Black Widow.

I changed the timeline of April 2016 since the ending implied the break-out from the Raft to be 2 weeks later.

It cannot be two weeks later, as the movie itself points out it has been like a couple of days after the battle at the airport, this is supported by Homecoming scene and tie-in material.

If you want my take on this, Natasha just doesn't know they have been already rescued. Marvel Studios has been kind of lazy with continuity this Phase Four. Some retcons can go, others can't. This is a mistake like the 8 years later.

I did it because the first half of Avengers - Infinity War: The Hero's Journey - Captain America is about her being interrogated by Everett Ross while the break-out is going on. Unless there was more than one break-out attempt, she had to have known about it. There are inconsistencies, though, such as her still having red hair.
I'm going with what the intention was, but I agree that it makes more sense if it has only been a couple of days due to the April 14 date on the package Tony receives, and I would change the timeline back with confirmation of the Hero's Journey being non-canon.

When does the movie says how long it has been since the airport?

For the post credits scene placement:

I'm going to assume, that with all the switching of post credits scenes that supposedly happened after the pandemic that we were meant to see the scenes regarding Val in FATWS first, which means I would at least consider that this post credits happens after FATWS.

We need to find out which was shot first. I'd assume it was BW.

Edit: Here is the quote....

During an interview with On The Red Carpet, Feige discussed some of the Easter eggs present in Black Widow, Marvel Studios' first theatrical release in two years. "There's also an Easter egg that originally was going to appear first in Black Widow and then show up in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and because [of] the pandemic, [it's] the only thing in our Phase Four that's twisted a little bit," he said. "So, for fans that watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier, there's an Easter egg waiting for them in this film."

To me, that sounds like Black Widow was shot first and intended to be seen first.

How did you determine the post credit's scene is set after WandaVision? Judging by the weather/amount of green, and considering it's probably in a warmer climate due to it being in the "mid-west", I'd place it in October 2023, soon after Endgame.

It's a temporary "after Endgame" placement, until "Hawkeye" possibly gives an indication of the time that has passed.

Viewing order wise, until then, I'd say watch it directly after Endgame. Provides a nice epilogue for the character.

I guess I can get behind that. My only qualm with it is that FATWS is a far better introduction for her character than BW. I don't know, perhaps I can also justify it by saying that Nick Fury was introduced the same way before his character got far more screen time in IM2 to flesh out his character a little bit more.

I get that, but we should try to be as objective as possible rather than what we may personally want.

Regarding the TVA scenes: Is there any indication of how much time has passed so far? Days?
I think it's an unnecessary headache. The TVA exists outside of time and I think it's best to just keep those scenes as their own thing like they currently are.
