Hah, I recently did the same thing to see if there was anything that matches with the Darcy we see today, like her becoming an astrophysicist. Unfortunately, it looked like she became more of a sollicitor for Selvig's work at the end. No biggie, because she still would have had 5 years to become one.

The Selvig thing I always chalked up to him being off the grid in that motel, and that's why he was listed missing.

It does seem to become more evident this book might be non-canon. I'm thinking it was based of a draft of Endgame was still focused on the snapped people being stuck in the Soul Stone.

If we get confirmation Selvig or Jane was snapped, then yeah, we should remove it from the timeline.

and put Titan Consumed in its place ;)

Personally I would love to swap Cosmic quest 2 with Titan consumed. I thought Cosmic Quest 2 was terrible, but loved Titans Quest.

Regardless my feelings on its quality, I do think its a prime candidate to become non-canon given the appearances of multiple thor supporting cast members who have major appearances coming up

Regardless of Selvig being "off the grid" and being miscounted as being snapped, thats possible but the ending of the book implies that Selvig is going to go public with his research on the infinity stones. The whole book also implies that the Avengers never tell anyone what actually happened regarding the snap which is.... werid...

The Salvig thing isn't really an error, as he was "missing" in the book too.

It's really how you frame Feige's comments.

For example, Deadline says:
Speaking at Disney+'s virtual TCA press tour when asked whether those properties could return to the Marvel Studios fold, he said, "I think we probably could do it, I think a lot of that stuff comes back to us.

I followed the TCA live tweets and I honestly thought that this was one of Feige's more conclusive comments that the shows ARE canon.

Man, he literally said that AoS rumors may be true, or may not be (about them appearing), he defended the shows when they were called unsuccessful and cited us the fans of those shows, I mean his comments very much imply they are part of the universe. If they just weren't he would say they are not part of it.
 
Plus, don't read Josh Wilding, he is biased AF. Feige's words did shock him, as he has ben saying Feige doesn't like the shows and will say they are not canon, guide yourself by the trades, like The Hollywood Reporter who assuredtoday those shows are MCU.
 
I call every series a canon just really waiting for about 6 years for Kevin Feige to say "yes canons" and not always just circumscribe anything.
 
The canon debate will never stop until a character from the shows appears in a Marvel Studios production. And even then it might not stop (see Edwin Jarvis in Endgame).

I can already see it:
*Charlie Cox Daredevil appears in Spidey 3*
"Yes, but he didn't mention any of the events from the Netflix shows, so those shows are not canon."

It might be a neverending cycle.
 
Fiege loves the shows. He is willing to bring the characters back. Saying anything else is being in denial.

Therefore, it is very unlikely they'd be contradicted or made non-canon.

Man. Yesterday, it was a slap in the face to all people who said Feige hated those series. He doesn't love them either, there is no clue on that,but he damn knows what was built under the MCU and that those shows were followed.
 
Okay what context was "Scarlet Witch" used in that Cosmic Quest 2 book? Because after the most recent episode today...I have questions.

Selvig and Darcy stop at a gas station. The lady at the cash register wants Selvig's autograph, because her niece is a huge Avengers fan.
"That Scarlet Witch? Oh my goodness, I hope she's okay. My niece just thinks she's magical."

Given the way that Agatha says "Scarlet Witch" it sounds like the term refers to a folklore figure. Given Wanda has vague-red coloured magic abilities I can see some people referring to her as "Scarlet Witch" in reference to the folklore before she formally takes the title
