Lost *spoilers*

Damn, there are way too many commercial breaks!

But this was a great episode. I liked how the ending of the flashback was broken up. It fit well. I was wondering why they wouldn't let us listen in either on Ben and Juliet's conversation.

And you know, I don't think she'll actually be going home anytime soon, of course. I really do hope she sticks around 'til the series end.

Definitely a great episode.

Alex is Ben's daughter? Nuts.

Juliet kills Pickett? Shoulda been Sawyer(that killed him), but that's cool...

Man... This'll be a great season. I thought the back story was just as interesting as what was going on on the island. This episode opens up even more about the Others, too. Love the fact that this show has a distinct direction now and that it is as exciting as watching a movie. A good movie at that. Awesome.

Great episode. Too bad I had read most of what had happened already, so nothing really came as a surprise. I'll have to stay away from those spoilers.

Freaky Clockwork Orange/Desolation Jones subliminal video torture... those glasses were lame though.

HOLY ****!!!

that bus surprized the hell out of me

Really? That really surprised you? I felt is was forshadowed too omuch, though anyone getting hit by a bus is funny.

Definitely a great episode.

I felt it was subpar, nothing too extravagant about it. It was predictable throughout the whole thing.

Alex is Ben's daughter? Nuts.

Doubt it. It's probably that Ben has had her for so long and told her she was his father, that she's believed it. She was kidnapped as a baby, so she's had no idea who her father really was.

My thoughts exactly.

I still hate Juliet as a character, whenever she gets on screen, she pisses me off.

Great episode. I found it especially interesting that the Dharma Initiative is still operating. The bus scene was spooky.

I thought that it would be a bit more interesting if, all this time, Danielle was lying to us about her part on the island. I mean, don't you wonder why are the Others harassing all of the castaways but never bothered with the French Chick? She was even messing with the radio transmissions leaving the island... I don't know, it's possible Ben is Alex's surrogate father, but it would be more interesting if he was her biological father and Danielle was just playing a part (like, acting) all this time.

I'm kinda iffy about that. I know its said in the show that she's Ben's daughter, but then again it was said that she was Danielle's daughter. Its possible both are correct. However, I'm leaning more to the side of Alex being kidnapped by the Others as a baby, then raised by them and told Ben was her father (fits nicely in with their whole psychological **** up of people's minds that they're partial to). Thats my theory anyway.

Yeah, he had it coming.

Its impressive to see just how much influence and power the Dharma program (and its affiliates like Mittlewerk) has.

Thats how I look at it.

Because it came in mid conversation. I thought they were going to drag out the whole him forcing her to work for him thing.

Also on the radio they were talking about this and someone called pointing out only something extreme fans would, After Jack fixed the artery Ben's blood pressure was 108, the exact number of minutes for the one hatch

Heh. Extreme fans alright. Never noticed it.

Amazing episode.

Elizabeth Mitchell's Juliet has unseated Michael Emerson's Ben as my current favorite character. Someone give that woman an Emmy!

Definitely, LOST is back in top form, and I'm very happy with the direction they are taking the show.

By the way, here's an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse surrounding not what the answers are, but when they will be answered. (No major spoilers.)

5/5

Well, this was a great episode; I really enjoyed it. Lots of good action pieces, and some interesting revelations that, in traditional Lost fashion, only spark more questions.

What really annoys me, though, is that interview. They're basically saying "We have it all planned out, we swear! You're just not going to find out about it for a while!" All they said in the entire interview was that we would see "parts" of the answers, and that "some" of the answer would be revealed by the end of the season. Honestly, if we get to the end of season three and we STILL haven't learned anything concrete, then I'm giving up on the show. Period. I'm tired of them stretching it out so far that they don't answer any major questions. Just you watch- they'll leave off answering anything of consequence until the last fifteen minutes of the last episode of the last season. So frustrating.

It IS annoying to not know wher ethis show is going, but there is an evident direction. This episode was certainly indicative of that. The show continues to be successful, too, so they'll more than likely draw it out a bit to milk it for what it's worth... I'm along for the ride now - I'll watch Lost until the ery last episode... Even if it's only worth watching the last fifteen minutes of the final episode.

I thought the interview provided a lot, too, by the way. They were giving us specific episode numers... And what to expect. I like that.

The thing is, even though most of the episode seem irrelevant with the flash backs its still an entertaining story. An enjoyable short story
