Lost *spoilers*

Well, as you have seen, the writers are still able to come up with a lot of mysteries... Out of left field, even. Did YOU see a second island coming? A submarine?

Submarine? Did I miss something? Or do you mean the underwater station/hatch that Jack's been held in?

The second island thing was definitly a surprise, but I find it unlikely Sayid didn't notice it when he walked the edge of the island and attempted to map it after torturing Sawyer. He should've been able to see it, as I'm pretty sure he later said he mapped about half the shore...I suppose its possible he missed it, and it does make sense that it would be on the side of the island the Others told Jack, Sawyer, Locke, and Kate not to come to ("the Line").

One of the Others mentioned to Ben that "the sub was back" and mentioned a problem, which we later found out was Colleen.

The second island upsetted me

Several times our castaways have been in situations where they have walked the shoreline for days, or been on the other side, hell, even on a raft in the middle of the ocean, and not one of them notices another island?

Didn't they go to the highest point in the island in the pilot, where they first got the french ladies transmission?

This is why it upsetted me

We are assuming this island is a circle, for one thing...

Another thing is that when they went to the "highest" point, it only meant a "higher" point. I think the highest point would've also revealed the Otherville neighborhood, too. I think there are a lot of ways a second island could be concealed... If the entire island that we're familiar with is hidden from the outside world, why not?

Also, it was comfirmed by Cuse that the Others have a sub.

Agreed. You'd think they'd have seen the other island at least once by now.

Oh well. As long as it's not a giant mirror or something.

Well maybe from their perspective it looked like apart of the island?

Bump.

Can't wait for this to come back. The more and more I think about it, I think this show will begin to REALLY pick up with this first episode after the 13 week break.

I have seen all the Lost moments and I can wait for this to return, but I'll be impatient.

I was always frustrated by the idea that, once Damon and Carlton (the executive producers of LOST) finished telling the story they had to tell -- therefore, all LOST needs to be -- that ABC, the moneymaking corporate machine would find someone else to continue LOST for no reason other than to milk the franchise dry. As of last week, fans assumed this would still be the case. Not anymore. Read the link, trust me; this is the first (and probably only) time that I'm actually happy to hear about a great show ending. Because no one wants it to become "Twin Peaks Season 2" or "The X-Files final two seasons", right?

Also in the link (which you've read by now, right? ): Official news of there being no reruns throughout all of Season 4!!!

On Friday I watched Season 3, Episode 1; last night I watched Episode 2. Tonight I'll watch the third episode. And by next Sunday, I'll have watched the whole season to date. Episode 1 and 2 were infinitely better the second time around, but now, after seeing the Sun and Jin episode again, I'm wondering if Jin knows about Sun's affair with Jae Lee. To me, it certainly seems that way.

By the way, on February 7th at 9pm (right before the midseason return), ABC will air a 1 hour special hosted by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, called The Lost Survival Guide.

Or so I've heard.

Tomorrow... Can't wait!

Seeing as how it will be a Juliet flashback, I think the episode will be interesting to say the least. It's our first flashback of an Other... Can you believe that? Should be a good one.
