Finally saw this. I really liked it. It wasn't as mindblowingly cool as Casino Royale but it was really entertaining. I liked the opera scene and the crazy plane chase.
And Daniel Craig continues to be the God of Awesomeness.
The only thing that disappointed me was the downbeat ending. I totally, completely understand how not killing Vesper's boyfriend was a big moment of character development that was meant to show how Bond was gaining control of himself but.....I wanted to see a mother****er get ****in capped. I've probably just been spoiled by the "Bond...James, Bond" scene at the end of Casino Royale, which is easily one of the coolest movie moments of the decade.
This one was good but I expect the next one to be incredible, since they have to properly introduce us to whatever big, sinister supervillain is really behind Quantum.
(I'm happy that they used the word "noughties" too. I so want that to become the actual term used to describe this decade.)
