Help Save Jericho

It was a rumor yesterday, but it's official today: Jericho will be back for seven more episodes. The first season will re-air this Summer, and the only way there will be more than the planned seven-episode arc (set to air midseason (tv season, that is)) is if more viewers start watching.
 
Just followed a link from TV Squad to SCI FI Wire regarding the future of this show, which basically says that the producers have a plan if the show is cancelled.

According to executive producer Carol Barbee, they shot an alternate ending to the upcoming second season that will wrap up the show in the event it isn't picked up for a third season.

"The ending that we planned was always meant to be a payoff for the seven-episode arc. It won't close off the whole story, but it will show you where we would go in a third season ... it gives you a huge mythology so that you understand so much about what has happened."

I like that idea, I think a lot of cancelled shows like this should have an opportunity to at least have a closing for the series, for the fans who waited for the answers
