ONE MUTHA****IN FILM TO GO!!!

So my college's Halloween Ball was Wednesday night and I went in my Batman costume. Throughout the night I was getting compliments by people who said I was above and beyond any of the other people dressed as Batman there (all of whom were just wearing this). The best compliments I got were people who said that I "actually was" Batman, which was kind of cool.

There are some pictures up on Facebook, but most of them aren't very good. I'll post any of them that turn out cool.

My costume just got here today. It's a bit snug though. Once I put the finishing touches I'll post some pictures.

You mask doesn't really fit with the rest, but still damn cool

Martin Scorsese discusses his 11 favourite horror films.

The Shining too, but its not underrated like those two are. I used to watch The Uninvited all the time when I was around 12. Wonderful execution of the classic haunted house tale.

But The Haunting is the most true-to-life-feeling ghost story I've ever seen/read. The bleak, paranoid atmosphere and EXTREMELY subtle use of ghosts is spot-on.

I'm dressing up as V from V for Vendetta. Which is odd, I've never read the comic or seen the movie. (I know, I should, I wanted something with a mask and cape and I didn't like the Darth vader and Batman costumes at the store.)

In the interest of being memorable, I have added a very important addition to the outfit: a sombrero. I'll try and upload pictures.

Peace, Love, and Namaste.

Who is the Badassest? James is the Badassest.

Those are awesome! Nice.

I went out with my friends tonight, but I didn't really dress up. I just had my Punisher shirt and my fedora hat on. One of my friends dressed up as the Crow, and we went to pick up our other friend from work.

While we waited for the bus to go to one of my friend's house, a stranger comes up (some young guy) he quickly stops and complements me on the Punisher shirt and hat. My friends quickly joke like, "Oh! He was coming on to you," which I replied with, "Yeah, but can you blame him? :heybaby:."

And yes. I did that smiley, too.

I watched the Evil Dead trilogy for the first time...yeah it was bizarre. The entire tone changes over the movies. And I loved how the story kept changing.

Army Of Darkness was the bestest.

ED2 was the bestest. ED1 was the most serious of the three films, and AOD was the most comedic, but ED2 had the perfect blend of seriousness and comedy. And Ash going insane and losing control of his hand is one of the best moments of the entire trilogy.

Yeah, none of the blacks of the costume were exactly the same because they were all different fabrics, so when you take pictures of it with a lot of flash, it just looks awful. It looked a lot better in real life (especially in the dark).
