Guitar Hero 3

Slipknot's "Before I Forget" single-handedly stopped me playing GH3 for a week. :(
 
I'm going to actually the training function to learn hard, because I need to get my fingers to slide down to orange somehow and it simply isn't posisble at the speed hard moves at.
 
I've found that my index finger slides better than my pinky.

On hard, I have taken to making my "home" position red, yellow, blue, orange.

I find it much easier to shift UP to green with my index finger if I need to.

YES! I got 100% on My Name Is Jonas on Medium last night in Career Mode. Sweeet.

However, I've now stalled out on the battle with Slash.

"Miss Murder", mostly because I don't think it deserves to be included in a list of great rock songs. And because they rhyme "all behind" with "all behind". You can't do that! It's like a basic rule.

"Before I Forget" and "Stricken" because they're crappy faux metal.

"Raining Blood" because it's really hard and not even that great of a song.
 
I ran through Strutter on hard, full speed today and scored a 95%. I was shocked.

I tried that thinking it would be easier but I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
 
I love how the lead singer guy is programmed to do his little dance whenever he's not singing. So during the intro to "One", when they're playing a bunch of noises of gunshots and screams and other disturbing sounds of war, he's just shaking his hips and clapping like a insensitive ****tard.
 
So...I'm super pissed off.

Today I went and got Guitar Hero 3 for the PS3. I had it for XBox 360 but since there is Guitar Hero 1 and Rock the 80s for PS2, I thought it would be good to sell my Xbox 360 game and have it for PS3.

I put Guitar Hero 2 in and the guitar went all weird. It wouldn't connect.

So I did a search to figure out why and apparently it's not compatible.

It would have been nice if the GH3 box mentioned something about this before I plunked down $100 for it.

I just wasted a bunch of money and I'm not real happy about it.

yeah that's why i bought GH3 on PS2

Did they ever resolve the Guitar Hero controller not working for Rock Band on PS3 thing? last i heard Activision blocked Harmonix's patch from being released

That's ****ing rubbish. Surely you can take it back and explain that the damn thing doesn't do what it says on the tin. Say it's faulty, maybe. The whammy bar cuts in and out. Get a refund. Destroy Sony.

I'm fairly certain that since it's opened, all I could get out of it is an exchange. So I guess I need to call Activision or whichever company is in charge of this particular problem.
 
I think you should be American. Go in there, with confidence, explain as a consumer the product does not work as it should, and demand a refund. As an American you can do that without being rude. :D
