Good Luck Chuck.

Also: It doesn't look good to begin with.
It looked GREAT to begin with.

And it has Dane Cook.
Exactly!

I don't get why people think he's funny. If I remember correctly, his last movie (and most of his standup) was especially awful.
His last movie (which was actually his first) was pretty good. You don't get why people think he's funny? Then I don't get why people think he isn't. There's your answer? Doesn't make sense? Doesn't matter to me.

Dane Cook's stand up is funny, I don't think it deserves this level of celebrity. I think most people are just hating because of his popularity

I just think his popularity is unfortunate, due to the fact that he's a second-rate stand-up comedian who is only a few steps up from the Blue Collar Comedy group in their undeserved acclaim for unfunny material.

I have no problem with Dane Cook. He's as funny as any good stand-up comedian out there. He's overrated though. It's not like his stuff is all that different or unique. Just louder.

It's just sad that probably twice as many people have heard of Dane Cook than have heard of Mitch Hedberg, who was probably the best stand-up of the last decade. And hardly anybody I know has watched any Steven Wright acts.

I like Dane Cook a lot, still. I wouldn't avoid or be biased toward a movie because he's in it by any means. This one though.... the concept was pretty clever but from what I hear it's supposed to be one of the worst movies of the year. That's why I'm passing.

I agree. I don't hate him, but he's just not funny at all to me.

I'm gonna see this eventually. Not because of Dane Cook. Or even Jessica Alba. I'm a fan of the physical comedy that has taken a backseat to the smarter quip-based comedy that has flooded the cinemas in the past few years.

Stuff like "Little Miss Sunshine" is being hailed as hilariously funny.....and meanwhile I laughed at like maybe 3 points of the film. That stuff is all fine and dandy.....but I wanna see someone get hit in the balls or head sometimes.

So yeah...I'll see it.

BTW---I didn't think Dane Cook was as old as he is. I caught a horribly bad blast from the past movie over the weekend. You may remember the trainwreck that is Dennis Rodman's "Simon Sez". Well guess who was the incredibly bad comedic sidekick? Yeah.....

I saw it last night....

It was in fact hilarious. Everyone played their roles perfectly.

And I know they try to pass Jessica Alba off as this superhot actress---and she is......but I have never seen her as hot as she was in this film. I think it was due to all the physical comedy.

Dane Cook was Dane Cook. The only time he got to be annoying was when he started going overboard with teh "I Miss You" stuff. Some of his rantings seemed like throw aways from his stand-up. It was just bad.

But his friend was hilarious all thru the movie.

I think the funniest thing from this movie......penguin porn. HA!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than his last starring role in "Employee of the Month". I seriously just might buy this on DVD.
