If it went up for an Oscar, it'd be 2007, not '06. :wink:DIrishB said:I think it'll be up for an Oscar in 2006. After all, how couldn't it? With a flaming skull, a motorcycle, and a chain-whip, how can it not be well received by critics and fans alike?

All of my worries are gone. The skull blends seamlessly in.
Doc Comic said:.....Are you out of your freaking mind?
Victor Von Doom said:Yeah....that's right Hulk and Punisher.
I think Bass liked it, he said that it was the best of the recent superhero movies he saw (I think), which could mean he liked it or he hated/didn't like it less.Victor Von Doom said:Anyways...I think Hulk was what you made of it......and I know I can't be the only person who liked it................am I????? I mean did anyone else see this movie in the same perspective as I did???
Doc Comic said:I liked The Punisher...but Hulk? Are you out of your freaking mind?
I agree.DIrishB said:I liked both...the Hulk was certainly a slower movie, but wasn't bad by any means. Unfortunately its just "cool" among comic fans to dislike the Hulk.

I had only two real major problems with The Hulk. One is that it was too damn long, and two, the ending fight scene was just too nonsensical for words. If it were a comic, I hardly think fans would've complained as much.
I hated the film at first, but it was in repeat viewings that I began to appreciate what Ang Lee was trying to do, and the film became an interesting case study of how a decent idea can become too overly taxing on casual moviegoers.
