The Pantheon
Thousands of years ago the Olympian gods of Greece resided over the earth imposing their will on the world. Feeling that their father's reign had gone on for far too long, the younger gods Ares, Aphrodite, Hermes, Apollo and Artemis rose up against their parents in order to take the throne of Mount Olympus. This plan failed, however, and the younger gods were forced to live as mortals on the Earthly plane. Millennia later, the descendants of the outcast gods are teenage mortals living in America living normal lives. The ancient hero Prometheus, who stole fire from the Gods, tells the young men and women of their destiny. He informs them that the elder gods are planning on entering the mortal plane to overtake the world that was once theirs. The former gods regain their abilities and with the help of their brother and sister Athena and Hephaestus take the fight back to Zeus and kill him. The younger gods then take their place as the rulers of Olympus, fulfilling the goal of the ancestors.
