Thanks guys.
Zill - James Purefoy
Purefoy is an accomplished actor. I truly believe that he can pull off any role imaginable. So in this case, he'd have to bring his flawed hero qualities to the role to become the leader that is Zill.
Noor - James Purefoy
Noor, young lioness who longs for freedom. You know what I think of when I think of freedom? You're damn right. Purefoy. Now, I know what you're thinking: Noor is a female. Well, like I said, I believe that Purefoy has the acting prowess to pull off any role. He would surpass the expectations of the audience and critics alike, adding to the tragic nature of this character.
Ali - James Purefoy
I haven't cast Purefoy in a while, and I think this is the role for him. He could pull of the lil' Lion with ease.
Safa - James Purefoy
When I say Purefoy is a brilliant actor, I mean he's a brilliant ****ing actor. Purefoy can do blind. Purefoy can do female. Purefoy would own in this role.
Fajer - James Purefoy
I cast Purefoy in this role because I think he has very bear-like qualities to him, which he can utilize in his performance as the killer bear. I think he can capture the brutal nature of Fajer.
Bukk - James Purefoy
This lion from Safa's past would be played by none other than James Purefoy. I wasn't sure at first whether I should cast Purefoy in the role, but I think he'd do pretty good.
Rashid - James Purefoy
James Purefoy will play the role of Rashid, a tortured lion. I feel confident that Purefoy has the balls the play this role.
  that's brilliant
Also Best cast this round
I hate to seem like a conceited *******, but I have to agree with you.
Viggo Mortensen as Zill, the alpha male of the pride.
Dame Judi Dench as Safa, an old lioness, blind in one eye, who has become accustomed to captivity and views the human "keepers" as allies.
Jennifer Love Hewitt as Noor, a younger lioness, mother to Ali; she longs for freedom from the zoo.
Angus T. Jones as Ali, a young cub.
Clancy Brown as Fajer, a blood-thirsty bear.
Tara Charendorff/Strong is HOT.I was going to put Tara Strong in that role as Noor, but that would have been the safe bet
Langsta is right! :shock:I thought Pride of Baghdad was a comic. It should have probably been done in the Comic Book Movie Discussion Dreamcasting then.

I don't participate in this much, though interesting, but I thought I'd take a look. I think these strong male leads doesn't really fit Zill. I kind've took him as a bit more insecure. Was I wrong?

That would mean that just about EVERYTHING that is a 'graphic novel' could be spun into this Dreamcasting.Well it is a graphic novel so I guess it could fall under book and comic and so be a Adaptation or normal comic one
That would mean that just about EVERYTHING that is a 'graphic novel' could be spun into this Dreamcasting.
And since nobody seems to agree on what is or isn't a graphic novel and is or isn't a comic book, that would be a ridiculous idea.
There's no series. No minis. It's one complete story
So's Watchmen.I look at it as a completed illustrated book. There's no series. No minis. It's one complete story. This could've just as well been written story only and the poignancy would still apply.
It could've been done in either format/round.
I don't think we're running out of ideas at all.I think we may have to merge the two Dreamcasting rounds in the future as though there is a limitless amount of ideas to mine, we seem to be running out fairly quickly.
