If this wasn't in this thread I would have never guessed what this was for and ignored it. The marketing team is doing really well though. I loved that they sold this as a romance film. Ryan Reynolds is got to be having a blast.
 
Out of curiosity, has there been any confirmation as to which Timeline of the X-Men movie universe this movie is set to occur in?
I'm guessing post Days of Future Past?

I really do not like current deadpool (his first year or 2 was good though) and I admit i'm tempted to watch this

I never said I read it all. Just old deadpool = Parody of comic industry and was well thought out. Current stuff every time I do read they think breaking 4th wall = story telling or cool (its not if over done) or think they can make jokes with no real storytelling. It seems a lot of times he's used just as crude fart jokes and family guy humour instead of having a little bit of the restraint and cleverness it used to. Also note I'm not insulting this film and think it looks better than the stuff I mentioned.
 
I'll be seeing this in 3 days (10th when it launches in uk) but so far I'm only seeing good things. For those that care about scores not your own opinion http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/deadpool/ it's at 100% , I expect it to go down once it's released (not cause it sucks but i dont think a superhero film will ever be 100/100 i see it in 80s to 90s if good) BUT what that tells me is so far they may have done good job. I'll still judge it myself but this should be fun and I didn't expect the early reviews to be so positive.

Yeah, it's likely it'll drop some (80-90% range is probably spot on), but it's encouraging to see it well liked by those critics/fans that've seen it early. Really looking forward to it.

Early reviews are very positive.

I'm very surprised at the overwhelming positive reaction to this. Might have to see it after all.
