The "Vertigo Universe" is a continuity or narrative that includes various interconnected stories in DC's New Earth continuity - and beyond!
(This is the pre-Flashpoint version of events; it does not include the "Sandman Universe" continuity of stories.)

Roger. Which comic do you reckon I should focus on?
I got a good one for ya because it's a specific time period but I need help on the passage of time & exact years/months:

Oooh, I've been needing a reason to get back into those comics. I'll see what I can do.

From Hellblazer #292 to #300 it is 2012...and it ends around Winter time, I would guess February 2012 or so.

So either Flashpoint happens in early-2012 in-universe or this hypertime'd out of that (which I doubt considered it MERGED with New Earth into Prime Earth) - this confirms more or less the former.

Textbox (Dian's writings, I believe) that lists the date for pages 1 to 7 as February 26th, 1938 (not sure if the year's an error, considering the Timeline dates issues 3 & 4 for 1939).

Pages 8 to 16(?) (I'm presuming Sandman interrogating Wu Sung is the same night, but could be wrong) are dated for March 1st. Dian and Wesley are familiar with one another, and mention Catherine and the events of the Tarantula arc.

Page 17 to 25 seems to be sometime later, with Dian in a new outfit when she sees Jimmy. Mentions of "Dinner Friday Night" on page 18, while page 22 mentions that the scene with Dian and Jimmy was during the afternoon.

Hope this helps.

Okay so that has to be correct.
The 1939 came from the fact that the play two characters went to in #4 (the final part of The Tarantula arc) was based on a real life play...that was released a year later IRL.

So I guess in DC's world it was a year earlier. Or the writer was off a year during his research (Alan Moore would never make that mistake if it were him lol).

Ah, I see. Yeah, probably released a year earlier in the Veritgo universe compared to IRL.

Will do the rest of the Face arc later. Currently watching RoboCop.
