If V for Vendetta is even loosely happening in the 1990s, it's straight up dystopian. In fact, Gotham would be a BETTER place than London to live.Especially if nukes were evolved

And if the propaganda is to be believed the US isn't faring well either but it's kind of better like you saidLondon is basically Nazi Germany (even more so than in Pennyworth), so... not great.
Another thing is that Pennyworth has intentional anachronisms in its timeline, where things from different eras converge. Gotham exists in a time with past and present technology spliced together in this "timeless" past. There's no defined placement - obviously, there is a place it is set, but it doesn't match with our world because of how different it is.True, it also makes you think how the culture has adjusted
Depends on where it was hit.How was Miami rebuilt in 18 years if it was hit by a nuke?
The majority of radiation risk occurs over a period of days or weeks after the blast. In 18 years, it wouldn't be nearly as dangerous.Yeah but regardless of the size of the nuke, it is very possible that fallout could be carried into the water by the wind
People moved back to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, did they not?Yeah but even then why would people want to move back even though the radiation is gone it would still be heavily polluted
It doesn't matter in comic book world logic.True, but we don't know what bomb the Russians used
Yeah the movie around 26-28 or 30 years after the comic events. The line "I was born in Nottingham in 1957" in the comic is "I was born in Nottingham in 1985" in the film version. But also Valerie's letter in the comic insinuated she was 19 when she came out whereas in the film she was 17.Not that I expect it to be included on the proper Gotham timeline, but I cooked up a quick V for Vendetta timeline for fun. Maybe it can be thrown as an extra on the DC Comics Timeline, or on a standalone comics timeline. I don't know, I was just in the mood for it.

When those two detectives are looking on the computer, Thursday is the previous day. At that point, it was 2 days before the 5th of November.Yeah, the movie's timeline is much different and honestly more controversial. The comic is pretty straightforward and gives you exact dates.
