November 29
Man of Steel
Chapter 5 (0:42:30 - 0:48:56)
Man of Steel Chapter 6 (0:48:57 - 0:54:27)
Man of Steel Chapter 6 (0:57:30 -
0:57:43)

November 30
Man of Steel
Chapter 6 (0:57:44 - 0:59:02)
Man of Steel Chapter 7 (0:59:03 - 1:01:22)

It came out on bluray already?

Not surprised at this, but more interesting:

New Gods, which would have been a sprawling tale, was complicated by the fact that its villain, Darkseid, just appeared as a major foil in Zack Snyder's Justice League and there was a desire to have space between the latter and any new appearances.

Except for The Batman, which is set on an alternate Earth known to geeks as Earth-2, DC is plotting its films and shows to share the same universe. Key to setting up its new status quo will be The Flash (Nov. 4, 2022), which will tackle the multiverse and is said to also lend clarity to the future of the Justice League with multiple Batmen, as well as Supergirl, appearing.

This is a major trade saying The Batman is Earth-2 once again. Odd that that indirectly ties it into Stargirl, but it doesn't really matter. Same world, different stories. I would assume the DC Extended Universe inhabits Earth-1.

Also...is Iain Glen going to be our new Bruce Wayne, inhabiting the place of Ben Affleck in the new timeline, if Titans gets merged with the DCEU.

What's this about? I heard someone discuss a rumour that the DC Universe shows would combine into the DCEU, but I assumed it was just some silly thing as it was just a YouTube comment with no source.

Based on The Hollywood Reporter, I'd expect Green Lantern and Justice League Dark to be a part of the DCEU. I would have assumed that The Flash wouldn't involve any new timelines.

The article wasn't specific about what TV shows were going to be a part of it after The Flash movie. I assume Earths will merge (again) but obviously not the CW ones.

Perhaps.

Maybe they mean new DCEU shows? What if Justice League 2 and Justice League 3 were HBO Max shows? Along with Justice League Dark, Green Lantern, Peacemaker, etc.

Titans does fit with the Snyder aesthetic, I will say. The timeline would have to change massively, as well. In the DCEU, Dick Grayson has been dead since 2009-2013 (2000 if Ayer Cut fixes that text). In Titans, the Justice League has been around since the 2000s.

I mean, it's not impossible. It'd be cool to see any Titans or Doom Patrol character in The Flash, if done well.

I have to say, I'm interested how The Flash will inform future Justice League stories.

Or it's something she's thinking about in 1984.
In that case, it's up for interpretation. But if we stick to release date and the fact that the film is intended to be a sequel, for a chronological viewing order, I'd say we can safely put the voiceover in present day.

It would be so cool if this was actually the case:

its an incredible idea on MatPat's part that might be the root that Warner Bros. are going down, but its very unlikely that they'll choose to continue working with the Snyderverse. If anything, HBO Max is our best bet of getting the story told as there is no chance of them being shown in theatres. Even if it isn't realised on the streaming services, they'll probably print it in graphic novels (not that it would change much of the style).
As much as I would love to see this "Film Theory" come to pass, I doubt that they'll choose to do anything with the Snyderverse. (Let's have a Blue Beetle movie instead!)

I'm super excited to see what they do with The Flash movie as it may hold all the answers we need - is Snyder involved behind the scenes or something? idk. The multiverse plot will probably address the Josstice League and ZSJL, but only time shall tell.
