DC Animated Movie Universe - Timeline

Why would it be set in the same year as Beware My Power? I take it that when there is no timeline indication it is in the year of release.

I usually look at it like this: Unless the films explicitly reveal a time jump, then they are the same year until evidence shows otherwise.

Hey everyone, new to this forum. First time watching all these great DC animated movies... I'm currently in the middle if "Justice League Dark".

The amount of work that was put into creating the timeline is admirable and appreciated greatly! That being said, I've also used the timeline from a user from another forum (https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-r...share=c598475f&srid=u4lOhr&target_type=answer) but this is just one user (Alex Din) where in this forum, besides the magnificent work of DIrishB, various users added important additions to the timeline.

I decided (as best and clumsy as I can) to "merge" both and would greatly appreciate your opinion and any modifications that you would suggest.

I didn't really finish the list. I have to confess that I haven't seen most of the DC animated movies, so I just wanted to watch them first and then update the list with more knowledge, but I keep forgetting about them.
 
This Crisis movie could be incredible IF done properly. It needs to take it's time, be multiple films, each at 3 hours a piece. The references and cameos need to be full meaty appearances from the various DC animated series and movies and not crappy three second member-berry moments...I'm not holding my breath. I'm expecting a single 75 min movie that mainly features the current DTV League with a few small nods, winks and references to other existing universes similar to what we saw in "The Flash" movie.

Yeah, It could be amazing if they "connect" every animated universe like the Live Action Crisis of the Arrowverse did
 
I think it'll probably be a DCAMU/Tomorrowverse crossover. It seemed like Constantine: House of Mystery was teasing something, so John is probably acting as Pariah perhaps.

Do we know how much time is set between Beware My Power And Legion Of Superheroes? I just feel like unless a time jump is explicitly revealed, it's safer to assume the films are closer together.
 
To follow up on this, I don't think placing a film in it's year of release is entirely accurate. I believe Legion could absolutely be placed in 2022 soon after Green Lantern. I haven't seen Warworld yet so not sure if there are any timeline references.
