Okay Guys, this is a timeline for the Tom Clancy Shared Universe which consist of 4 confirmerd sub-series and 2 unconfirmed:
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six;
  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
  • Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.
these 4 are the 100% confirmed canon, then we have the ambiguos canon that (I will add if you guys want them:
  • Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: This one is a bit tricky, since the novels that are set before Raimbow Six (the novel) doeasn't have contraddiction with the series, but the novels after Raimbow Six, yes, so it depends on you guys, if you want them on this timeline we have to say that at one moment the timeline split into 2 one for the games 1 for the rest of the novels.
  • Metal Gear Saga: Sam Fisher makes a reference to snake (that maybe is only an ester egg), but is done in a serious way, that maybe we should take the saga as canon? look, Wildlands take place after 2014, so Guns of the Patriots happened, and all of this is set during a 100% canonical mission, so like with the Jack Ryan novels, if you want the metal gear saga here, tell me and I will add it.
the remaining sub-series are 100% not canon or another continuity (like End War).

Hello mr./mrs. Bliddry, I'm sorry, but this will only be a timeline for the main Clancyverse universe, with coz I'm unfamiliar to the novels and TV shows.

the weird thing is that the inclusion of the metal gear saga works in terms of tecnology progress in the clancyverse and even to plot. We are basically in the world that solid snake created with the death of Big Boss [and Venom Snake] and the dissolution of Outher Heaven. We're basically waiting the great return of Solid Snake that will arrive in February 2005.
 
even the creation of Rainbow seems more plausible since the death of Big Boss and Outher Heaven created a vacuum in the Mercenary comunity like in the period of time between 1975-1984, and so the mercenary will turn on terrorism and so the USA will create the rainbow unit. This flowless connection is really weird even the fact that the unit was created in 1999 the year Big Boss got killed, really weird.

Update on the canon status of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Metal Gear Rising: Revegance.

With the new release of the master collection, in one of the in-game books there is a new timeline, this one:



As you can see we have 2 new events set after Rising and these 2 games are now fully canon. The Blue color refers to spin-off titles. So during the course of the series these 2 games goes from Semi-canon -> Not-canon -> Full Canon.

OK GUYS, listen up!

Checked the Splinter Cell novel, and they says that Third Echelon was founded in the 90s. Like does Splinter Cell Essential.

Essential follows version 2 of Double agent, but conviction clarified that version 1 is canon.

PS2 of 1st splinter cell game as Third Echelon as existing from a long time, so we have 3 alternatives, i want u guys to help me decide what to do.

1st one = We ignore, the novels, version 2 and essential.
2nd one = We put the version 2 as the canon ones, ignoring what conviction says.
3rd one = For the sake of having everything, we consider the Version 1 canon, for not breaking continuity with conviction, for essentials we change the Double agents dates to fit version 1 of it, and we just say that the founding date of Third Echelon in splinter cell 1 is wrong and essential is right for not breaking continuity of checkmate, operation barracuda and essential.

What do u think?
