That was the merriest christmas eve I have had in a long time.
I had to go do the usual lipservice family gathering at my grandmother's house, and then my best friend called me and wanted to know what I was doing.
We were going to see a movie, but all the theatres were closing early so we decided to go get a drink instead. We called another one of our friends and he met us down at this little pub we frequent that was rather busy because a lot of other places were closed. Anyways, we got a table and progressively people began filtering in, several of whom now live out of state. After a little while we probably had eight people sitting around a little four seater.
What a time. The bar was in great spirits, the bartender was making the drinks twice as strong, and the jukebox was pumping out a lot of great tunes. At several points in time we led the entire place in sing-a-long's to such tracks as "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Tiny Dancer". And it was just a blast. I can't wait until the Luda-Christmas party we're going to have tonight.
In the spirit of goodwill and happy times, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody.

Xmas eve I did my usual trick of heading down the local at 2pm for drinks with mates, which was where we stayed until about 11pm.
Just opened a bundle of prezzies now, mp4 player, sat nav for the car, dvds, books etc

I have slept the following hours: 10:30 - Midnight, Midnight - 2:30, 2:30 - 4:30, 4:30 - 5:30.... And now i can't fall back asleep, but my siblings aren't planning on getting up for another three hours. *******it.
