Batman (1966-1968) - Timeline

The Flash movie shows Adventures of Superman as having a separate chronobowl to Batman, but just because the tie-in comics suggest a shared universe (Solo #7 confirms a Superman and Justice League exist in the 1960s, the Halloween-set comic has a child dressed as Superman and the final two issues have cameos of Lois, Jimmy, Perry and Clark modelled after the AoS cast), I thought it was interesting how the former has a Jay Garrick and the latter a Barry Allen. I know that's not saying a lot, but if they were connected then it's sort of cool to think about.

Now, can you imagine if they had this version of Barry Allen in the centre of Earth-66's chronobowl, similar to Earth-AoS' Flash? That would have been nuts.

The writer of the comic probably didn't think too hard about the exact chronology and just assumed it would take place in 1966 since the show is commonly known as Batman '66. It is just a simple error in my view.

I agree. I also think that if I included Batman '66 Meets Wonder Woman '77, I'd ignore the 1944 - 1966 - 1977 dates and go with 1944 - 1969 - 197X instead. There's no need to subscribe to such strict dates all the time.
 
Solo #7 is included by the way, but it is a bit at odds with the tone since it deals with a dream sequence nightmare where Dick Grayson falls in love with a criminal who murders Aunt Harriett and sends her severed ear back, and then Robin commits suicide. It does confirm Alan Scott, Kal-El and the Justice League though, which I suppose sets up Legends of the Superheroes. I placed it after the other comics because it felt like it should take place in the darker years before Bruce killed the Joker in Batman '66 Meets Wonder Woman '77 (even if I haven't included that comic). Actually, assuming that Red Mask being defeated didn't stop Joker from being more violent in Earth-66 (as seen in Batman vol. 3 #135), maybe that's what led to Alfred's heart attack and Bruce killing Joker.

I like how Batman lets a Nazi war criminal go free, and even warns him about O'Hera and Gordon. It's... well, it really shows his priorities. He also implies he's still keeping POWs 20 years after the war ended! :oops: lol
 
Random note:
Crisis on Infinite Earths is set in 2019 and yet it has 1960s-style cars. Very Fallout of them. Anyway, Lost in Space is set in a 1960s-envisioned 1998, so that kind of works. I guess you could say the Lost in Space cameo in Batman '66 was actually about a different space mission than the one that occurs in Lost in Space, since they're 30 years apart.
