Avatar: The Last Air Bender (Spoilers!)

When is this back?

I hear not until as far back as May. Something about them wanting to sell the first half DVD before continuing (which is like May 2nd)

The Western Air Temple and The Fire Bending Master episodes are online if you know where to look. (I'm hoping the next one with be online tomorrow but it looks doubtful)

I saw those two , I loved them , I'm waiting for The Boiling Rock (a two parter according to tv.com) I hope I don't have to wait till May for the next one , that would suck

WHY HASN'T THIS SHOW RETURNED YET?!?!?!?!?!?! :furious:

Because the world is filled with pain.

It's more or less garunteed new episodes will show up in April, as the new DVDs come out in May.

But, yeah, this is some piss-poor scheduling.

Well I believe that they haven't completely finished all the episodes and it's safe to assume that the last episodes will air in May for sweeps. I saw on tv guide that the have an episode schedule for friday so I hoping it will be the start of the second half. Also they're playing "The Avatar and the Firelord" tomorrow, And they've release an online game which is based on the Boiling Rock, the next episodes that have yet to air. So lets hope its soon

If that's true, I find it stupid that they would start to air an animated show w/o the episodes at least ready for voices and editing, etc.

So going by the world map, are the Western and Eastern air temples like one bison-flight away from each other? Or is there a huge ocean/undiscovered counterweight continent in between them?

Well you can fall behind any number of reasons. and the animation process takes 8 months for each episode so they probably had planned to finish them during this year. If they had waited until all the episodes were complete we wouldn't see the first one until next September, most likely. I'm sure they're not that behind schedule.

I'm gonna say theres a huge ocean, if you look at the water tribe territory, I would say the north and south pole are at the center of those, so the other nations only take up about half the earth

I was reading up on this show and found out that in the earliest stages, it was planned to be a sci-fi thing.

Momo would have been an R2D2-like robot.

I'm not sure what to think of this.

Although we STILL have no word on new episodes, box art and summary of the final DVD have been released, revealing some cool stuff about the series finale.

The kids return to the Fire Nation and prepare for their final confrontation with Firelord Ozai, but they discover that the Firelord has plans of his own: he has ordained himself Phoenix Lord and appointed Princess Azula as the next Firelord. In the spectacular 4-part finale of Avatar Book 3: Fire, Aang fulfills his destiny as Avatar and confronts the Firelord in the greatest battle of the series.

It's debatable whether this is a good or bad sign for english schedules.
