So as you guessed the current status of my marvel cartoons is........dead! i will never continue them. im really done with flash cartoons. i will continue to practice my drawing skills but there is only one flash cartoon i would be willing to make:

this guy is a legend! one of my original creations so im quite proud of him. believe it or not he actually has a backstory and everything but i doubt i will ever get to tell that story. For now im under pressure from people to make more bad crow cartoons. when i see people i know in town sometimes i will get asked if there is gonna be another one and the response from bad crow was always met so positively so if there is to be one more flash cartoon this will be it. Im working this out at the moment, contemplating bringing somebody else on board to help me work out the story but we will see how it goes

i know im a man of many broken promises but i will try to put that right with one last cartoon

as much as it sucks you're not doing your flash work anymore, I'm glad to hear you're not giving up on art entirely

You should revamp your Chimp Detective thing. I'd write stories for it if you were willing.

hes a pretty limited character but id be willing to look into him again. i had plans for all my original characters but im no good at sticking with things anymore
 
well i havent felt inspired to recreate any marvel covers for a while. mostly because everything has been crap lately with the exception of Punisher:MAX which never fails to deliver. But the cover for World War Hulk #2 , although not spectacular, caught my eye. so here is a WIP (work in progress)

Whoa, cool! I love the way you showed the light and shadow on their muscles and that's a great flame effect.

ah thanx even though really they are far from finished effects and pretty much suck at the moment. this WIP shows evidence that i have really lost my edge. i am now too conflicted as an artist. in this piece you can see old and new freeze styles clashing. i mean look how cuddly black panther is

You too have really improved since i last visited your thread.

Keep shading and see what you can do. It will def. require insane amounts of effort, but I think you may be able to become an MSpaint god.
 
well i dont actually use mspaint but i dont use any fancy techniques anyway but here is the piece pretty much finished but presented alongside the original for comparison

reeds face is like he is really upset about something but in the original cover its like he is saying "oi!" to hulk. oi isnt quite gonna stop him reed you ****ing genius, ugh!
also why the **** is luke cage wearing a wooly hat?!?! its the big SUMMER event hes gonna be sweatin like a mutha****a so i made him take that stupid hat off.
Black Panther sucks!........unless you make him cuddly of course :D
i really hate doc samson so you can see i couldnt be arsed drawing him much

i ****ing hate doc samson and i also hate arms, eyes, lips, noses, ears and many other parts of the human body because i cant ****ing draw them but doc samson ****ing sucks
