so i had another go at re-doing the background today and i think i came back witha decent effort. i took a small section of the background on the original version and enlarged it to cover the back of mine, adding some colours and stuff as well. here is a comparison pic and its pretty much the complete piece now

I'm not good with exact measurements, but maybe something around the size of (or a little bit smaller whatever works for you) the front cover of like a movie novelization or something?

Probably should going with 81/2'' by 11'' (normal paper size) so you can print it out
 
so i know of 2 peepl that printed it out. Gmaster told me it looked really cool printed out so i did it myself. he was right! i bagged and boarded the image and filed it with my civil war comics lol
 
seeing as how the deadline for Round 1 of comics2film.com`s "Challenge Of The Artists" hit today i will share with u guys my entry:

because it has damage being dealt by the absorbing man to another person.
i thought the second piece looked better. i mean maybe i should have submitted that but i got around 5 opinions on which was the better piece and the majority went for the submitted image
 
so they changed the style of the competition. the winner will now be the person who accumulates the most points over 3 pieces. im really gonna have to step it up though!

in other news, i sent my civil war variant to Aspen Comics asking if i could get a word back from Michael Turner. Very pleased that they got back to me, heres what they said:

He loved them! With a big grin on his face Mike said
"Woah - Those Are Awesome"
and then we spent like 15 minutes looking at your myspace account!
Very cool work. Keep doing them and try doing some comic strips - you could get as famous as Charles Schulz!

im sure they would praise any fan art but just the fact they replied was satisfying enough for me. their positive comments will be my fuel!
