Teh Sexy Monkey Queen
Ahh, ok, thanks. I missed a bit of the start getting something to eat.The dude with the glasses? That's Dr. Whitehall AKA Kraken. He was at the start I'm the 40's section.
I forgot about Kraken appearing.

I came in right at that part. I gasped! Then you also probably missed what appeared to be the blue man in a crate in the 1940's
I was really impressed with the Absorbing Man effects
and the Fitz reveal was absolutely heartbreaking.
I'm imagining since Whitehall was shown in the 40s we'll be seeing more of the 40s as the series progresses. I had a feeling they would tie Agent Carter in with this.
It'll be interesting to see how it all ties into Age of Ultron.
The guy at the end, Wendell- only person in the Marvel Universe that I know of with that name is Quasar.
Which excites me for the fact that whenever Marvel does an Inhumans movie, this while tie into that, since the Kree have been coming to Earth for so long experimenting on the people (in the comics history, which I'm sure they will also establish as the same in the MCU).Also, the blue guy in the crate at the beginning in the 1945 scene was obviously the Kree they used to revive Coulson, so apparently the Kree have been coming to Earth for awhile (or at least that one did).
Yeah they were pretty decent. I loved the scene where he started swinging around the ball and chain. That was a great nod to the comic version.
Also, looks like Creel may be sticking around for awhile, since he's a good foil for the team, seems intelligent and well-versed with his powers, and is a go-to guy for Hydra (though of a completely mercenary mindset, not buying into the Hydra loyalty motif).
Yeah. Poor Fitz. He needs that monkey now more than ever.
That was well handled, though. I wonder just where Simmons ended up going to? Guess we'll find out in a future episode. The sooner the better. Simmons is so damn hot.
Also, Xena's dead one episode in? Unexpected, and a little disappointing. I was hoping her getting her arm cut off towards the end would lead to her getting a cool robot arm and being a nod to some obscure Marvel character or something.
I wouldn't necessarily expect more 1940's era scenes or Carter to appear again, least not until the mid-season break. I mean, they already set up what they needed to with that opening. If there is more 1940's flashback scenes, it'll be toward the mid-season break as a segue into Agent Carter starting (which is a very real possibility).
Well, we know Hydra will play some role in Age of Ultron, likely as dupes for Ultron. So I'm sure they'll tie AoS to the film through the Hydra thread, and possibly even set up SHIELD's return by the end of the season to offer support to the Avengers in the film itself. Maybe, maybe not. We'll see.

First look at Bobbi Morse, * SPOILER * SAY WHAT!? She'll debut in the October 21st episode, * SPOILER * It's those kind of nods I really appreciate. They could have really made this stupid by having him be an ex-worker at a company called Ball and Chain or have him have a wife he hates... I know it's probably not going to happen, but I'd love for Mark Ruffalo to show up or Creel to show up in Avengers 2 to fight Hulk. Lee's film did Absorbing Man terribly. I wonder if Simmons is working for Fury. He's gotta show up at some point right? It's never too late! She could easily return! Plus I wonder if this is the same Isabelle as Hand's Isabelle from the comic. You think Kraken might be the big bad for Agent Carter? I wonder if Strucker will appear this season. Maybe Loki's staff? I'd love it if the staff gave Creel his powers and then they bring in The Wrecking Crew.
Robbie Baldwin (aka Speedball and Penance) will make is debut in AoS, maybe in the same episode of Mockingbird. He will played by actor Fran Krantz( who did some works with Whedon in the last years (Cabin in the Woods, Much Ado About Nothing)). sources: his twitter (but he deleted his message) and here: http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/91271279.html
Just got to watch the premiere. We don't have cable in my new apartment yet so I had to wait for it to hit online. However, as part of not having cable I've started watching Heroes and now I can't stop thinking Talbot can fly.
Heroes is probably the only thing worse than Agents of SHIELD.
If Keonig does end up being an LMD I wonder if Ultron will take control of him. That'd be very Whedon. Especially an army of them.
