I imagine it's probably to give the X-men a new, possibly reoccurring villain. Besides, you don't get into the Ultimate universe without a smokin' redux. Ask Apoc.

Ok, ok... Well, I'm giving these two siblings a chance, however, I would have liked to see him running with the Ultimate Morlocks or something.
