Alrighty, first order of business... get a copy of 28 Days Later on DVD or Blu-Ray and give it a watch, once for viewing pleasure, then again for placements and the like. Not sure if there's a "definitive edition" of the film, but any help with this timeline is appreciated.

Also, I've heard folks online say that the 2009 comic series is no-longer canon, due to the implication that Jim is executed for his part in killing the soldiers in the first movie. In contrast, Cillian Murphy was revealed to be returning as Jim in 28 Years Later. I'll see what exactly happens when I get to the comics.

Lastly, I find it funny that I originally planned to do a Timeline for the CROSSED comic series, and yet I've seen fans of both 28 Days Later and CROSSED come together due to the latest movie giving off vibes akin to the CROSSED +100 storyline.

We don't actually see him die in the comic, so ignore them.

Preferably blu-ray, since DVD compression makes it shorter because it skips frames.

Unusually it was shot on 720x576 SD video @ 25fps PAL so Blu-ray and NTSC DVD releases are longer (i.e. slowed down, dialogue pitched down etc.)

Noted. I'll see if I can get a copy ASAP.

Also, I just found my old VHS copy of the film among my boxes of stuff that I still haven't sorted out from moving places over a year ago. I'm tempted to watch it on VHS for my first time, then use the Blu-Ray for getting timestamps.

Okay, having watched the first film and enjoyed it, here's (roughly) what I gathered from the timeline:

Day 0 (Start of the movie) - Dumbass animal activists get infected by Rage-infected ape, beginning of outbreak
Days 1 to 27 (off-screen) - UK goes to shit, rest of the world quarantines the entire country
Day 28 - Jim wakes up in the hospital, barely escapes the infected and meets Mark & Selena
Day 29 - Group makes it to Jim's parents home in Deptford, find Jim's parents dead by suicide, and get attacked by infected that night, Mark is bitten and put down by Selena, Jim and Selena soon meet Frank and his daughter Hannah
Day 30 - Frank shares the military broadcast to Jim and Selena, the group head off to Manchester in Frank's cab, get a flat tire in a tunnel and barely escape the infected, do a bit of "shopping", fuel up at a gas tucker
Day 31 - Group arrives at the blockade, Frank becomes infected and is gunned down by armed forces, group taken to mansion where they meet The Ninth Doct- I mean Major West, who reveals his true colours and has Jim knocked out and the girls imprisoned as sex slaves
Day 32 - Jim and Sergeant Farrell taken to be executed, Farrell killed while Jim escapes and creates a distraction, luring Major West and his forces away, frees an infected Mailer (who proceeds to kill most of the soldiers at the mansion) and rescues the girls, West wounds Jim and is killed by Mailer while the group escape
Day 60 (End of the movie) - Group at a cottage with a cloth banner signalling to a jet flying over the UK as the infected begin dying off from starvation.

@Pro Bot is this accurate? Also, was thinking of using the Release Date of the movie (November 1st, 2002) for Day 0, and going from there. Think that would work?
