Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

Also, why can't Moria in The Last Stand just be the same Moria? Why is the age thing even worth bringing up in this franchise... characters just look younger than expected in this series, it's a trend.
The Arrowverse had a lot of examples of characters that are 60 but look 40.

Like that Helga Jace character from Black Lightning who was already a doctor/chemist by the late-1980s when Gravedigger overthrew the Markovian government. Tobias' sister too.

Honestly, I just can't see them not being the same ones from the X-Men films. It just doesn't make sense to me, Mystique alive or dead. We'll see, I guess.

It makes the most sense to me that the current X-Men timeline branched off from Earth-17315 in 2024 when the TVA ended up there.

I feel like with it being December 2028, down to the wire and around the time Xavier has his catastrophic seizure that kills 7 mutants, and the fact that all this is going on at the X-Mansion.

Feels like Doom is interfering with a fixed point in “Earth-10005” history that is about to occur.

My headcanon: Moira MacTaggert in The Last Stand: She was a british woman called Moira Claremont. Born in 1969. Medical scientist and doctor. She married to a family member of CIA Agent Moira MacTaggert (Moira MacTaggert from First Class and Apocalypse), adopting her married surname "MacTaggert", she happened to coincidentally have the same first name of CIA's Moira. So two Moiras in family. The name later called Xavier attention, then he meet her and developed a friendship with this Moira, but of course didn't have a romance between the two. She show up in 2006, in X-Men: The Last Stand events.

To be honest, it makes sense to just decanonise Dark Phoenix. It shows Mystique and Jean Grey dying (even though they appear later in the timeline as alive if the X-Men in Doomsday are the E-10005 ones). It’s also a pretty bad film.

We’ll see when Doomsday comes out. There may be an explanation.

I agree, I treat Dark Phoenix as timeline branch, instead happened in main timeline.

No, that's silly. Decanonizing films is dumb.

ALSO... Jean doesn't freaking die in that film. You can literally see her flying in the sky at the end while she's monologuing. It's made very clear she's alive. I'm sick of explaining that.

As for Mystique, it's very typical for characters to come back from the dead in comic books.
