I mean, are you sure that the present day of the film is set around that point? Referencing that event, even showing it, doesn't mean that the present day is set there. You're probably right, but a lot of timelines seem to suggest 1864-1865.

Okay, but what about easily the Peakest entry in TMWNN story...Dollars Trilogy (The Man With No Name)
1862 - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
1872 - For a Few Dollars More (1965)
1973 - A Fistful of Dollars (1964)
There's also comics and novels. It's definitely canonically the same character.
I would guess, and I have no real idea, that the novels are sequels to the whole trilogy while the comics act as a sequel to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, set, I guess, before the rest.Where would the comics and novels fit in if you don’t mind me asking
Oh, it's this game.
Don't even, it's absurdly massive.https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Earth-818793
There a thread for this?

Because of the various crossovers the Army of Darkness comics have done over the years, this Earth is also home to the Dynamite versions of Vampirella, Re-Animator, Red Sonja, Xena: Warrior Princess, Sherlock Holmes, Allan Quatermain, Devil's Due's Hack/Slash, and Wildstorm's Freddy Kruger and Jason Voorhees.
It would include Monster War (a crossover in the Top Cow Universe that acts as a prequel to Ash vs Classic Monsters), and Hack/Slash.Quite the universe ya got there Sam Raimi.
Alternate timeline of the Slasherverse apparently too.
I'll just argue it is its own Multiversal Tree of horror stuff.By crossover with Top Cow, I mean... the comic literally makes it seem like Top Cow and Dynamite are the EXACT SAME universe.
