I'm watching Daredevil Season 2. At the end of Episode 6, Foggy says Frank Castle's trial begins next week, and the beginning of the trial is shown in Episode 7. Why are these episodes placed months apart on the timeline?

The publisher's intent was definitely to start with Phase 1 and then move on to Phase 2, but I honestly feel that they could be read in either order. Reading all of Star Wars in chronological order is a great experiment, although it's certainly not intended to be read that way.
