Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

It doesn't mention anything about the release papers. All it says is that Selvig referenced 616 on the chalkboard before being released on November 11th, 2013. If you look at the movie beginning on the day it came out, you would be on the 11th by the time Selvig's released so the date obviously came from that.

In other words, the timeline book author looked through the wiki, saw placements they didn't like and just went...

... that an accurate representation of events?
The wiki got a lot of its dates from the movies themselves so it isn't really a surprise they line up for the most part. The only thing I can think of that's specific to the wiki is the Defenders shows on the Disney + timeline but that's because I don't think they put the same care in making sure it was accurate the way they do their own productions. Plus they obviously wouldn't be as familiar with shows they had no involvement with. Like if the book had specific dates from the wiki, it'd be one thing. But it just stays specific to the season unless the day itself is made clear like Iron Man 3 revolving around Christmas.

Nah, they used the same evidence that the wiki did, except they used it wrong due to a typo.
Like I said there's nothing specifically saying they went off that form. There's plenty of times where we ignore a background date. Especially one that was only on screen for a second.

I feel bad for reiterating this because of OP's health concerns...but I think the previous OP hedged his bets giving over the keys to this timeline because no edits were made despite all our chats. I think we need a new thread.

This is a cursed timeline...

What does OP Stand for?

Sorry for the off topic intermission.

I just realized this, have you guys ever noticed how Peter's response to the black was just as big as Bruce's response to the explosion in Gotham

Is this is just gonna be ignored?

If i have to give my opinion.

If a part 5 has to be made, the One to take the mantle should be One Who:

1) has watched/Read the majority of the MCU.

2) Ready and with in a good economic situation to buy all the blue-ray disks that Will come out to put the chapter time marks in the timeline.

I'm willing to keep the timeline up to date, but cutting up the chapter time marks is not something I have the time or patience for. Comics, books etc are no problem, though.

I'm in the same boat. If it was just keeping up the timeline it'd be fine, but I just don't have the time to meticulously edit in chapter times.

Just throwing up a suggestion, wouldn't it be easier and better if it was a joint effort. Like someone can maintain the timeline, whilst someone else in the position to do chapter times does that and shares their notes between each other.

Edit: Nvm Pro Bot beat me to it lol
