it's bloody lost boys. It HAS to be good.
Oh no. . . no it doesn't.
No it doesn't.
"On January 17th, 2007, it was revealed that Warner Bros. was beginning production on a number of straight-to-video sequels for their existing library of franchise friendly films. Among these productions is "The Lost Boys 2", which begins shooting in Vancouver in June 2007"
How can they possibly **** up Lost boys.
oh and according to wiki
So there could be more!
99.999999999% of all direct-to-DVD films suck ***. Take American Psycho 2: All American Girl, Hollow Man 2, and all of the Air Bud, MVP, Beethoven, and Disney sequels.
Famous last words. How can they possibly **** up Lost boys.

Famous last words.
Because "How can they possibly **** up [instert title here]" is just begging for humiliation later on.
By taking that exact attitude with it.
"Screw putting money and effort into this, it's Lost Boys, it'll be good no matter what".
I hear they're making a third Bill and Ted movie, direct-to-DVD. It doesn't have Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter (who was in Lost Boys), or George Carlin, and appears to be a prequel. Tell me that doesn't sound like the ****tiest **** ever.
but still Lost boys. I'm exited.
But it's not the Lost Boys that you know. Pretty much everything from the first Lost Boys is gone, except the vampires and possibly California. Keep that in mind.

If its really subtitled The Tribe I'd be surprised if it was set in California. Sounds very much like an In Name Only sequel.
That's not always a bad thing , or might have different actor playing the same charracters from 1st as it was years ago and vampires don't age so younger actors.
Well, my problem with INO sequels is that if they were, you know, good they'd have their own identity instead of trying to leach of my nostalgia for the 80s.
Yeah but the problem is if they were very much like Lost Boys style and used lost boys vampire type things but was just called "The Tribe" then When it came out people wall call it a "a lost boys rip off"
Like Dirty dancing 2 had that not had Dirty dancing 2 (even though I think it was based loosely on a true story) It would of been called a "dirty dancing rip off" and suffered because of it.
But like I said this may not be a name only sequel. Could just be younger actors playing same charracters.
See, now if we weren't talking about a Vampire movie I might admit you had a point. Since we are talking about a Vampire movie, a well Hollywood has gone to so many times they stopped getting mud from it decades ago, I have to disagree. Young Vampires are a staple of the Vampire genre. I doubt it would get any comparison to Lost Boys unless it also happened to feature punk inspired gangs and Kieffer Sutherland.
