It's not, but some Jews (in fact, most of them that I know) don't keep kosher. There are different kinds of jews (Conservative, Orthodox, Reform). Half the kids at my (huge) high school are Jewish, and I only know two of them that keep kosher (one being the redhead I was talking about in the social thread ).
