Celebrity Deaths (updated weekly)

Here's a quote:

"Of course, as pastimes go, baseball is much more erudite than hockey. A gentleman's game, born in rich green fields and deeply woven into the very cultural fabric of our country. Yet you only need to stare at a photo of Pete Vukovich for so long to realize the sport also has a dark underbelly, which exposes itself from time to time in the form of baseball memorabilia shows... and fights."

I wish I had a clue where that card might be. If I come across it I'll scan it.

Please do, I couldn't find a picture of him within three minutes so I gave up. I did come across his charicature on a Brewers placemat, however.

I miss Mitch Hedberg.

ANOTHER wrestler now, Ernie Ladd also dead.

Also, john Inman, British sitcom star, dead.

I used to watch Are You Being Served? when I was a kid, but don't remember much of it.

You know, I always thought Richard Jeni worked better as a punchline than a comedian.

I actually still do.

The Howard Stern Show got some mileage out of him the other day. And those were his friends.

Still, he filled a niche of clean comedians that's getting rarer and rarer.

I hope Kevin Meaney isn't next!

Dammit! Guess I'll just have to try again.
