The Official Wizard World CHICAGO 2007 thread.

I also picked up the first TPB of Battle Hymn by B. Clay Moore at his table. Looked like a cool premise and the art looked good. Moore and the artist (I think his name is Jeremy Haun or something like that - nice guy) both signed, which was cool.

Now I have to look through the site here and see if anyone else read Battle Hymn.

Hanging out with E and his family was cool, but I like the bigger gathering at Philly, even though it's a lesser con.

I had fun this year, except Saturday when I was very sick. Sunday I went with my friend so I wasn't alone a single day this year, which was a pleasant change for me.

I didn't sit through a single panel all weekened, so I'm just catching up on the news now.

E's family is awesome, his kid was great and his wife looks a lot like my sister, except she smiles just like this customer service girl I was in love with when I worked at the mall, so she gave me weird and coflicting emotions. But they're totally the best.

I really want a huge UC convergence somewhere next year, though.

Hey, I have a question- about how close to the actual event do they post the guests, etc? There ain't no way I'm going to the Chicago one, but in November they're coming to Texas (Arlington, in fact, the city in which I reside), so it's kind of a no-brainer for me. Still, I'll probably forget about it between now and then (November is quite a long time away, when you factor in *shudder* school), and I was just curious as to when I should start looking for the info. Thanks in advance.

Regardless, I will most likely go to Chicago next year.

And I felt bad for Joe - we got to hang out and chat but he sort of at the mercy of a 4 year old who wanted to get pictures taken with all of the costumes. He was remarkably patient.

I agree that a bigger meet up would have been more fun. But the con itself was great and it was cool to meet people that I talk to basically every day, even if it was only a couple.

I don't think I have it in me to do another two con year. It's surprisingly exhausting, even a couple months apart. Particularly on the wallet.

So whatever everybody decides on, I'll probably just do that, but I really hope it's Chicago.

Well this one was only a month in between cons for you. At least next year there's 4 months in between New York Comic Con and Wizad World Chicago.

But I'm definetly hitting up NYCC with DSF. We want you guys to come too!

I can only imagine what a hotel in NYC will cost.

Actually, I really can't.

You have to give them your son for five nights in Manhattan.

That's where Hotel Employees come from, you know.
