Just started watching this because I was nervous about AKA Jessica Jones. I'm only two episodes in but I'm already mad it got cancelled and am completely on board with Ritter as Jones now. And James Van Der Beek playing himself is hilarious. I love how whenever it becomes a typical sitcom it takes an unexpected turn and so far a pretty dark turn at that. Really enjoying this. Anyone else?

I enjoyed it when it was on, but the second season the staples of the show start to drag it down into the briny depths of something or other.

I was trying to make a metaphor, which wanted to become a simile at some point, and eventually my brain gave up. Basically, what makes the show great in the first season, makes it horrendous in later seasons.

I can agree that the second season wasn't as good but I still thought it was pretty good. The show definitely changed over time though. Ritter is going to be an awesome Jessica Jones.

It could be that I watch them in a chunk and it was starting to wear thin by the end. But Ritter is a fantastic actor, so she should be good.

James Van Der Beek was the best part of that show.
