Comixology sale - which ones to buy?

So Comixology is having a Captain America sale. I've never read any of his stuff (and I'm pretty new to comics). Which ones should I start with? I can't buy all 50, so maybe a good dozen or so. Any suggestions are appreciated!

The first 12-14 issues comprise the Winter Soldier arc and are the basis for most of what Brubakers done with the character. I'd start there.

After that, I would probably look into the Death of A Dream arc, which runs #25-30.

TPBWiki has a list of the story arcs and summaries.

I wish I could get them all. But having bought the original premiere hardcovers when they came out then the Omnibus volumes I don't feel like spending more on this, as good as it is.

BTW: if you go with the first 14 like Friday suggested, don't bother with #10. It was a tie-in with a story that had no bearing on what was going on in Captain America at the time that was just sort of stuck in there.

It covers the first 14 issues, so it would be 1-9 and 11-14 you'd be looking for.

It certainly helps with portability.

I remember getting the first Brubaker Cap Omnibus and lugging it around with me. Not fun.

I have so much stuff I need to add but I've been caught up in updating another site that desparately needs it over the last couple months. I'll try to make TPBwiki my next priority.
