In that case, we should consider the tombstone of 1x03 and other stuff as continuity errors. If anyone thinks that it should stay as 2021, please share your thoughts. The video where Mancini states that it's two weeks after is this. If any new info is revealed, I will put it back to 2021. / PD: This would mean Season 2 would take place in 2018 or 2022, so if 2017 ends being the ultimate answer, then I will also put Season 2 as 2018.

In Cult, it is confirmed that it takes place around January to an article Andy reads and then in Chucky Season 1, Nica says it's been two weeks since she was possessed, but it is already November, which not makes any sense. I think Curse and Cult are fine but Chucky Season 1 is not following Mancini's idea of being 2017.

We could use our imagination and say that, for example, some songs that didn't exist yet and the references of things that popularized in the 2020s just happened a bit earlier in this timeline. We're talking about a fictional universe, after all. And about the gravestone, you said it better. But it would be cooler if they just made more evidence of it being 2017 as a whole rather than making it like it's 2021, when it's actually not. Maybe Cult takes place in October after all, but i think the years of Curse and Cult are fine.

Pretty sure you've got a mistake there in 2017... Though I've never seen anything past "Seed" yet, besides the Mark Hamil version.

Hey, I fixed Cult. I'm going to keep working on the series timeline, including season 2 when it releases, and MAYBE I could try to include the remake and a couple of media around there.

I think I have a clearer idea regarding the timeline of series 1 and 2. I actually think the first season takes place 2 WEEKS after Cult of Chucky. I'll elaborate more below.

I think any dates placed on props, in-universe videos, etc. are incorrect most of the time on this franchise.

Andy's birthday is November 9. The last scene of Curse of Chucky takes place a day earlier due to Andy's dialogue, and yet in Cult of Chucky Andy already has Chucky's head on November 1, 2013, which isn't correct at all.

Considering that, Cult of Chucky taking place 2 weeks earlier doesn't sound that far-fetched. My confusion back then was Nica's dialogue saying it had been 2 weeks when it was already the 5th episode of the series and this was November 8th, Cult doesn't take place during the series, so Nica's dialogue doesn't make sense unless she had woken up sometime before, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'll change Cult's timeline a bit, 2 weeks before October 18th. The dates shown in both Cult and the series are wrong, and I believe that Don Mancini's statement (link is above) is the point of view i most trust on this situation at the moment, if someone thinks differently please share yours, and I'll try to change it to be more accurate.

And about the series timeline, I'm doing some changes with the format, so I will probably take a while, but Seasons 1 and 2 will be added completely one day or another. I apologize for the errors/delays this may have, I'm still learning, like everyone.

Chucky S1 needs to be updated to 2021. This season confirmed itself to be 34 years since Andy first faced Chucky, the twins celebrate their 18th birthday (not sure where the March date came from, but the episode is after Halloween), and while it doesn't really add up, Meg said Jennifer quit contact 24 years ago when she "did that Chucky movie" (matches Bride of Chucky's release date, but in-universe, her Chucky movie would be in 2004). Combined with the 2021 grave from last season, I think we just have to assume that Nica's confused and believes it's been 2 weeks when it's really been 4 years.
