did anyone else notice the name over the guy in the tank that Norman had experimented on to make sure the super soldier compound worked with the green goblin formula?

it was G Stacy

Gabriel Stacy?

Oh damn, I didn't notice that. Nice catch.

I was thinking about the Stacy kids afterwards when Norman had said, "Only son?" to Spider-Man. Now it looks like he's having his 4th child. This guy just screws any woman now.

Everytime I see a blonde guy in a sciencey tank in Spider-Man I always get excited and start thinking Ben Reilly coming back

it's happened twice since Civil War (near the end of the ASM Civil War arc, and in this one)

American Son is turning out to be better than I expected.ASM right now is the only Marvel book that actually shows how crazy Norman Osborn actually is(and Thunderbolts might be doing that a little too...).Still I am waiting for ASM#600 to decide if i'll keep reading ASM or not...

Holy shucking fit, Issue 598 is INSANE!! I cannot believe Marvel rates this series A (ages 9 and up), especially for this particular arc. If any series should be T+ right now, it's this one! That said, I'm loving this book right now. I read it with my twelve year old brother, though, and that's what worries me. (Seriously, the implied sexual reference about bunnies and carrots was over the line.)

Amazing.

I was thinking the same thing, I mean, it's not like it was raunchy, but for an A rated comic, that was pushing it.

bowl syisad oosh

and the part where Spidey sticks to Norman's face and then rips his skin off was crazy!!! :D

American Son was great! Although I liked Menace's original look more than her current green goblin look.

And the annual was really good as well.

They aren't your cousins Peter! Aunt May is your aunt by marriage, therefore her nieces are NOT related to you!

I liked it too and i learned Osborn is a sick freak. Knocking up your sons ex is messed up.

We already knew he was sick freak, he slept with Gwen Stacy. I bet when Mary Jane comes back now that we had the "One More Day" Story. She'll come back say that Osborn either knocked her up or at least tryed to.

I read #600. I haven't read this title since the first month of Brand New Day.

It was decent. The main story was pretty epic but the dialogue was quite bad (a lot of exposition and some really stupid bits). However, I did like the idea of Doc Ock getting brain damage from the repeated blows to the head. It's one of those ideas that make a lot of sense yet no one has really used before.

Back ups were neat, especially Stan Lee's story and the various fake covers.

I think I will continue to read this comic from here on until I get bored with it again.
