If anyone can write a Punisher story that can stand up to Garth Ennis's work, it would be Aaron.
The first issue was a very quick read but I think it has a lot of potential. I have a feeling that the MAX version of Wilson Fisk is going to be a very interesting character indeed...
#1 was a pretty good issue. It starts off with Wolverine heading to the White House as Dum Dum Dugan is talking to the Madam Secretary. Suddenly their communications (via TV talk) is cut off and it's shown a sewer with a cable missing a huge chunk as its sparking with Wolverine down the sewer...

This is how a mini should be told.
We got a background-story on the villain, face punching action, a challenge for Nighthawk and the start of the villains breakout, AND WE ARE ONLY AT ISSUE 1!
I hope the rest of the mini is as full packed as this one :D
