Just read the first issue - the art is so much better than the Bendis/JRJR Avengers book. I think I like the team better too (even though I don't think they've fully formed).
Long story short, Cap asks Luke if he wants to continue the Avengers and Luke is Apprehensive because he doesn't trust...
Announced at the Dublin Comic Con, now Comic Book Resources previews the cover for the one-shot.
“As you saw in ‘Secret Invasion’ #8, Mockingbird is back and reunited with Clint - and looking awesome in this cover by the incomparable Jo Chen,” Jim McCann told CBR News. “ Before you can ask...
WARNING! Spoilers are involved (though still hidden because it's future spoilers).
Lying in the Gutters:
If you are following the current Avengers plotlines, then consider this a massive spoiler warning! Do not look at the Dynamic Forces listings in the current Previews.
Because...
Just picked up #38 today. Loved it.
Jessica Jones is at the Watchtower and seems very content - maybe too content for someone that basically just dumped her husband. Luke is looking for her and eventually calls her. They yell at each other (great dialogue) - Luke standing up for his...
Am I the only who thinks the Hood's gang is really boring and unimpressive so far?
A lot of these villains are supposed to geniuses as well (like the Wizard) so why would they all serve the Hood?
It seems like these villains jobbing to the Hood to make him look cooler. Besides Hood and...
This is the first confirmation I've seen that Ares is joining the Avengers - I knew it was speculated, but I hadn't seen confirmation.

Also looking forward to seeing Echo expanded on - the first story was decent but kind of weak.

Bendis did something right this week.
First Xavier, Iron Man, Black Bolt, Mr. Fantastic, and Namor interrupt a gathering of Skrull's that are planning to invade Earth. Black Bolt destroys their entire ship as a warning. As they're making their escape, they get gunned down and...
Bendis will redeem himself

Looks great and I have faith that Bendis won't **** this up.
And I was very confused trying to find this thread. Is this discussion thread for only up to 20? This...
This was great. Bendis really hit home with a lot of these characters.
Just off the cuff (as usual), we get Iron Man, Black Bolt, Namor, Dr. Strange, Reed Richards, Professor Xavier all meeting in Wakanda at Black Panther's castle. This is sometime soon after the Kree-Skrull where Tony...
The problem with The Sentry is he's overpowered and, like they said in the Ronin arc, he's gonna end some conflicts in a matter of less than a second.
So I was thinking how is he gonna be on this team and still make things interesting?
What if The Sentry doesn't get involved in fights...
After recieving both of these I was impressed only by the first one. The kree story presented in the first one was actually decent, However, the Kingpin/KGB story presented in the second military issue disappoints. overall 4/5 for issue 1, 2.5/5 for issue 2.
Covers- #1...
Don't know if this has been brought up before but what do you think Jameson's reaction is going to be when it get announced that Spider-Man (the man he has wanted to destroy/expose for years) is now a member of the New Avengers (the new fraction of the worldwide celebrated Avengers)?
My apologies if someone has said this before - I don't recall reading it anywhere.
I just got done re-reading New Avengers #1-6, and seeing as how the ending, particularly the last scene, was left way open - it's obvious that this particular story isn't closed.
So we have this Yelena/Black...
We've got a thread devoted to Disassembled - here's one for New Avengers.
PopCultureShock has a very brief preview of #1: http://www.popcultureshock.com/reviews.php?id=3638
Pick it up, read it, and let's discuss... :D
