Re: Superman: Doomsday I loved ULTIMATE AVENGERS 1 & 2. IRON MAN bored me to tears. Haven't seen DOCTOR STRANGE yet. But SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY is by far and away the worst of the lot.

You can stay true to something's roots and still revamp it. ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN proves as much. ULTIMATE X-MEN was starting to, but it fell off the apple cart.

I'm a sucker for Doomsday, and recently heard that Glen Jacobs (WWE's Kane) has played a Doomsday-like character on SMALLVILLE called Titan. Is this true? What episode was it? Are there any plans for Kane to reprise the role in future episodes?

Can't say this surprises me. Vince is hurting for talent right now, and is probably willing to throw money around like it's going out of style.

Reinterpretations great, because sometimes the reinterpretations are better than the original (see also: Ultimate Spider-Man). Not only that, but it allows fans and creative teams alike the ability to play in a sandbox without worrying about (say, in Batman's case) 60 years worth of continuity...

I'm just really excited to be able to read all those old TMNT books that I'm missing from my collection. I've got the entire run of the first volume from #8 up, as well as all of Volume 4, but am missing almost all incarnations of TALES, and am not from a place where I can find Volume 2 or 3...

Re: Anyone watch REAPER? He's always my hero. After watching EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH, I've added him to a pantheon that includes John Elway and Eddie Vedder. Do you know if he's going to stay on for the entire season, or is just doing one or two episodes and then is out the door?

How long 'til the third season is released on DVD? I'm an instant gratification guy.

With this series, it's always good to re-read them from Volume 1 up when a new trade comes out. There's a lot of subtle plot points you miss when you don't, simply because you've forgotten them.
