    Superman: Doomsday [spoilers]

Re: Superman: Doomsday I loved ULTIMATE AVENGERS 1 & 2. IRON MAN bored me to tears. Haven't seen DOCTOR STRANGE yet. But SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY is by far and away the worst of the lot.

    Reinterpretations of Characters/Stories

You can stay true to something's roots and still revamp it. ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN proves as much. ULTIMATE X-MEN was starting to, but it fell off the apple cart.

    Smallville (spoilers)

"Blast you, vile woman!" How convincing was the death? The "real" Doomsday "died" once, too.

    Smallville (spoilers)

I'm a sucker for Doomsday, and recently heard that Glen Jacobs (WWE's Kane) has played a Doomsday-like character on SMALLVILLE called Titan. Is this true? What episode was it? Are there any plans for Kane to reprise the role in future episodes?

    WWE [speculation, spoilers]

Can't say this surprises me. Vince is hurting for talent right now, and is probably willing to throw money around like it's going out of style.

    Reinterpretations of Characters/Stories

Reinterpretations great, because sometimes the reinterpretations are better than the original (see also: Ultimate Spider-Man). Not only that, but it allows fans and creative teams alike the ability to play in a sandbox without worrying about (say, in Batman's case) 60 years worth of continuity...

    TMNT Going Digital

I'm just really excited to be able to read all those old TMNT books that I'm missing from my collection. I've got the entire run of the first volume from #8 up, as well as all of Volume 4, but am missing almost all incarnations of TALES, and am not from a place where I can find Volume 2 or 3...

    Reaper discussion (Spoilers)

Re: Anyone watch REAPER? He's always my hero. After watching EVENING WITH KEVIN SMITH, I've added him to a pantheon that includes John Elway and Eddie Vedder. Do you know if he's going to stay on for the entire season, or is just doing one or two episodes and then is out the door?

Avatar: The Last Air Bender (Spoilers!)

How long 'til the third season is released on DVD? I'm an instant gratification guy.

    Reaper discussion (Spoilers)

This show has an infinite amount of potential. I hope it doesn't get canned before it's time. Anybody else see the season premiere?

    TMNT Going Digital

Thanks. I think we'll see a shift in the next couple of years to digital floppies, and more of an emphasis on trade paperbacks and hardcovers. Like, floppies would still come out every week, but they'd only be available online and after the arc is over, would then come out in physical form as...

Ultimate Fantastic Four #47 discussion (spoilers!)

Re: Marvel.com's Preview of Ultimate Fantastic Four #47 I like Mike Carey, but -- like the rest of the UMU -- there's been too much Ultimatizing! Let's go back and revisit some of the "older" ultimatized concepts. It's not a race to redesign everything in FF history! For instance, I'm not...

    Marvel Zombies series discussion (spoilers)

Aye... A lot of "normal" zombie rules aren't in effect in the MZ universe. I always hated talking zombies, for example, and thought Marvel should have stuck to the tried-and-true archetype. I realize why they didn't, but there's a Hell of a story for an author to tell, if one comes along and...

I just bought THE COMPLETE ALAN MOORE WILDC.A.T.S.

Ugh. I guess I'm going to have to cowboy up and read it. I did buy it, after all. Maybe I can sell it to some sucker for $20. It's got a cover of $30, I think.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender (Spoilers!)

I'm waiting until they get four or five complete seasons on DVD before I watch this show. Bad idea?

I just bought THE COMPLETE ALAN MOORE WILDC.A.T.S.

Was the arc you read from Alan Moore's run, or a previous (or later) one? I'm praying I didn't just waste fifteen bucks.

    Marvel Zombies series discussion (spoilers)

It's not supposed to. It's all about having a good time!

    TMNT Going Digital

You guys have probably seen this at other boards, but I was wondering what you thought about Mirage changing their entire business model to revolve around digital distribution. I think it's awesome because that's what I do; I signed a contract earlier this year with Wowio to distribute my books...

I just bought THE COMPLETE ALAN MOORE WILDC.A.T.S.

I found this book for fifteen bucks, used at a Hastings, and decided to pick it up because Alan Moore is generally entertaining. I'm not sure what I just got myself into, however, because the trade starts collecting books in the mid-thirties of the original series. What should I know, going into...

    The Walking Dead (Image) [SPOILERS]

With this series, it's always good to re-read them from Volume 1 up when a new trade comes out. There's a lot of subtle plot points you miss when you don't, simply because you've forgotten them.
