I'm still processing the news myself. It's not like I knew the guy (we exchanged a few emails as he posted my Buffy timeline on his site) but he seemed like a good guy and he definitely had a passion for this stuff. Awful news, hope his family is coping with it.

I really hope they explain why Fury had that device with him and knew immediately to gor for it, not just that he's been carrying it around for 25 years and never chosen to use it until now.

Are we even sure he was on the run after Civil War. Doesn't CW end with Cap breaking into the Raft and that's all we see? Maybe Scott chose to stay behind and work out a deal instead of going with Cap. That might also be one reason he was shown leniency.

Just now watching the final arc, three more episodes to go. Just gotta mention I liked the little jabs at Trump and Conway in 4x19. Bakshi was hitting on an assistant, inviting her to go furniture shopping, and Coulson mentioned "alternative facts" in his speech. Loving this arc.

And just about a week after me writing that, James Gunn announces he's writing and directing Vol. 3. Concluding the story of "this iteration" of GotG sounds ominous. I'm betting he's killing off more than one member of the group in Vol. 3, but also introducing new members.
